Control Programs
Private or Cooperative?
• UDAF Cost Share Program for Private Land
– Utah pays 75% of the cost to control
grasshoppers or Mormon crickets on privately
owned rangeland and cropland.
– After being qualified, participants spray their
land with pesticide labeled for use on
grasshoppers.
– Participants pay applicator and submit a state
contract for reimbursement.
