Act to Amend IC 4-23-7.3-19FEE-BASED GIS FUNDING MODEL

(g) Through Residential Real Estate Sales Disclosure Form Fees as defined in IC 32-21-5.

(h) Through Stormwater Sewer Permitting Fees and Rule 13 Municipal Separate Storm System (MS4)Permitting.

•Generate local government funding for GIS maintenance and projects

•Help fund statewide initiatives

•Provide grant funds to support specific or special GIS initiatives

STATUS: Anna & Phil met with Indiana House Representative Robert Behning, and Senator Richard Bray this summer. Representative Behning agreed to ask LSA to look at our proposed legislation. A Legislative Services attorney began the process of drafting legislation in late August.
