Ontario will be required to use electronic speed limiters that cap their speed at a maximum of 105 kilometers per hour. What is an electronic speed limiter? Most vehicles built after December 31 1994 are equipped with an electronic control module (ECM). This module can limit fuel injection when the truck reaches a pre-set speed. Who should comply? Any vehicle that has a gross vehicle weight over 26 000 lbs (11 794 kg) and is assembled
