IntroductionWelcome to the 2011 WIAA Hardwood Classic. Here are the general media procedures and expectations. Each of the three sites (Yakima SunDome, Spokane Arena and Tacoma Dome) may have specific guidelines and policies for the media. Make sure you check in with the media coordinator at each site.

Obtaining Media CredentialsMedia credentials for the 2011 Hardwood Classic can be obtained by registering on-line at www.wiaa.com. Click on “Media” in the left hand menu. Prior to the tournament questions can be answered by contacting Conor Laffey at the WIAA. Media floor passes may be picked up at the press pass gate. Media personnel that have not registered in advance will need to show press credentials and identification for a recognized media source in order to obtain a tournament floor pass (not a guaranteed entrance).

Media Guides and InformationAll approved media personnel will receive their credential, media packet and tournament information when checking in at the pass gate. Hardwood Classic Ethics and ExpectationsThe Hardwood Classic staff has the responsibility of limiting access to the floor to persons acting in an of-ficial capacity (coaches, assigned workers, cheerleaders and credentialed media). It is a high priority to limit the distractions for the competitors and protect viewing rights for spectators. FOR THAT REASON WE ASK THAT YOU CAREFULLY READ THE ETHICS AND EXPECTATIONS ON THE REVERSE SIDE.
