    Guerrilla Store

Here some of the things I was showing to the Hub

Trieste people (the theme was: workspace).

In this image the Comme des Garons Guerrilla

Store in Warsaw. In terms of "casual" interiordesign, Comme des Garons has a lot of very nice

references. Here some images out of their shop in

    On (Total) Beauty

Trieste is a very beautiful city. Its Piazza Unit

d'Italia is even more beautiful. Walking there, at

late night, it is an absolute feeling.

    @FrankLange, My Instagr.am

    Friend

I have a lot of "friends" on Instagr.am. But some

(even if I don't know them in person) are quite

    special.

@franklange is one of my favorites, and it was very

nice to get to know him in person.

He runs a very nice bar called Aqvuedotto, you go

there late, you meet a person you never met

before and it looks like you know each other since

years. All this, smoking freely and drinking some.

Here above a glass of Santa Teresa and Cola, the

    house special. Very nice.

ps. thanks to @claudio_fa for taking me there.

    Bora Wind and Its Museum

Another great thing they have in Trieste is the

    "bora" wind.

But, not only they have this incredibly powerful

wind. No. They also have the museum of it.

It is called "Museo della Bora", it has its own

"Magazzino del Vento" (Wind warehouse), and if

you are around Trieste you should make sure to

get a guided tour by its founder Rino Lombardi (a

    great chap, very nice person).

    Kickstarter facilitates gathering monetary

resources from the general public, a model which

    circumvents many traditional avenues of

    investment.

People must apply to Kickstarter in order to have a

project posted on the site, and Kickstarter

provides guidelines on what types of projects will

be accepted. Project owners choose a deadline

and a target minimum of funds to raise. If the

chosen target is not gathered by the deadline, no

funds are collected (this is known as a provision

    point mechanism).

Money pledged by donors is collected using

Amazon Payments, and initiating projects requires

    a U.S. bank account.

If you want a detailedexplanation on Kickstarter

and crowfudning, the best thing you can do is to

    Cavart and Other Stories

One of the nice things of this trip to Trieste it has

been the trip back with Legrenzi Susanna and

    Franco Raggi.

Franco has an incredible collection of thousandand thousand images of all kind of design,

    architecture, things.

He has the finest archive I've ever seen on relevant

things happened in design field from 1970 to 1990.

The other incredible thing is that all this precious

visuals are stored in the hard-disk of his laptop.

So, I was in the lucky condition of having 5 hours

of personal show with all the things I love most. Not to mention thatmost of the images he has,

I've never seen them before. Really really nice.

Here for instance a nice link to an article he wrote

    Legoland Billund

    A Magic Archive

Triggered by Antonio Scarponi link, I've found this

fantastic archive where you can find all the Lego

sets. Year after year, theme after theme. It is one

of the finest archive I've ever seen on any product

(very happy it is about Lego).

    Here is the link: http://www.brickset.

And here is the link to a great timeline where yousee the most relevant bit of Lego's 80 years

    history: http://cache.gizmodo.com/.../01/lego-

    Palazzo Fortuny

    On Wax!

A very nice exhibition at Palazzo Fortuny, in

    Venice.

    "Avere una bella cera".

The worlds first exhibition on wax portraits willanalyse a field that has been studied very little by

art historians: that of life-size wax figures. This

fascinating subject has recently attracted the

attention of numerous contemporary artists, but

has never had a specific exhibition devoted to it.

The project was inspired by two fortunate

coincidences, the existence of a series of life-size

wax portraits in Venices public collections and

churches, and the centenary of the publication ofGeschichte der Portrtbildnerei in Wachs (History

of Portraiture in Wax), written by the famous

Viennese art historian Julius von Schlosser and the

first work devoted to the history of wax
