WHAT IS THE K FUND?
The K Fund is the fundraising arm of the University of Kentucky Athletics Departmentresponsible for providing the resources necessary to ensure our student-athletes havethe opportunity to earn a first-class education and compete for championships. Theseresources are provided through student-athlete scholarships, state-of-the-art facilitiesand the financial support essential for UK Athletics 22 varsity sport programs to excel.
By investing in the K Fund, you are providing support to more than 500 UK student-athletes, helping ensure their academic and athletic success. Donations to the K Fund,through Annual & Capital funds, are used to provide:
• Student-Athlete Scholarships – tuition, room & board• Academic Support and Career Development• Athletic Facilities Maintenance, Renovations, or New Facilities• Coaches & Administrative Support

WHERE DOES UK RANK?
UK Athletics maintains a budget that ranks in the midrange of its SEC peers while field-ing a 22-sport program, the broadest in the conference. UK Athletics also operates self-sufficiently with no state or university funds.
UK Athletics budget, on average, is 3.5 percent of the overall budget for the University.The Athletics Department is committed to a strong partnership with the University by con-tributing over $100 million in scholarships, indirect royalties and expenses to the Universityover the past decade. Over a quarter of UK Athletics budget is spent back on campusthrough paying the full rate of an estimated 340 (in-stat e & out-of-state) scholarships, aUniversity assessment fee and all costs of maintaining athletic facilities.

8 WAYS TO INVEST IN BLUE
1) Make a giftAnyone can make an impact with their gift. Direct contribution is the most common method of giving.
2) Does your company participate in a matching gift program?Some companies will match your gifts to UK Athletics. Matching gifts are a great way to maximize your gift to the K Fund.
3) Gifts of SecuritiesGifts of securities are becoming a popular way of making a substantialcontribution to the K Fund.
4) Naming Rights or Special ProjectsBe a part of UK Athletics history! There are naming rights opportunities in several UK Athletics facilities.
5) Remember UK Athletics in your Estate PlanningK Fund members can help ensure that the tradition of UK Athletics continues in perpetuity by making a planned gift. Deferred gifts, wills, bequests, and trusts are other ways members can assist in providing the K Fund financial resources for continued growth. Planned gifts may provide income/capital gains tax savings and possible estate tax savings.
6) Join the Big Blue InitiativeAnswer the call to the Big Blue Nation! Go beyond your total annual giving by increasing your gift by 15 percent, or by increasing to the next annual giving level. By joining this initiative, you will help make an immediate impact inmoving UK Athletics, and the Big Blue Nation, forward.
7) Refer a Friend to the K FundHelp us strengthen the foundation of the K Fund and increase the number of those who contribute to UK Athletics by referring a new member to the K Fund. Receive (3) priority points for every $10,000 donation referred by you tothe K Fund.
8) Show Your Support in the StandsFor all of UK Athletics 22 Varsity Sports, a home-field advantage is a keycomponent to success. Your support from the stands fuels our student-athletes in competition. We encourage you to join us on game daysthroughout the year as we cheer on our Wildcats.

POINT SYSTEM
The priority point system is utilized to ensure a fair and equitable allocation of assets of UK Athleticsevents. It is used when assigning tickets for away and postseason events. The point system isdesigned to reward loyalty and total dollar contributions in support of UK Athletics.
ANNUAL POINTSYou can earn points in these categories each year, and they accumulate from year to year.
Season Ticket Purchase• One (1) point for every year of season ticket purchase in
football and / or men’s basketball, starting in 1987.• Five (5) points for every year of baseball, women’s basketball,
gymnastics or volleyball season ticket purchase. (minimum of two season tickets)
Annual Giving• Three (3) points for every $100 of K Fund general donation
money given each year. • Two (2) points for every $100 of required annual priority
seating donation.110% Club
• Receive five (5) K Fund priority points once per fiscal year for joining.• Annual membership runs from July 1st through June 30th.
Brick• Thirty (30) points for each personalized brick.
Faculty / Staff• One (1) point for every year of employment with UK.
Referred Donations• Three (3) points for every $10,000 referred by you to UK
Athletics.Commonwealth Suites
• Twenty (20) points for each suite ticket (excluding standing room only).
LIFETIME POINTSLifetime points are one-time awards:
• Fifty (50) points …. UK Fellow• Fifty (50) points …. UK Letter Winner• Twenty (20) points …. Active member of
the UK Alumni Association
WILDCAT RESERVE
The Wildcat Reserve is an exclusiveprogram which consists of K Fundmembers who contribute $100,000 ormore, annually, to the K Fund.
Specifically, Wildcat Reserve members will be entitled to several exclusive benefits, including:
• A private dinner with the President of the University, Athletics Director, Head Football Coach, Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Head Women’s Basketball Coach.
• A reserved parking space, with personalized name plate, at Commonwealth Stadium and Rupp Arena.
• Opportunity to stand in tunnel (near our locker rooms) at Commonwealth Stadium and Rupp Arena as Wildcat teams take the field / court for one (1) game.
• Specialized UK Nike gear featuring a unique, “members only,” Wildcat Reserve logo.• Sideline access for the annual Blue / White spring football game. Two (2) premium seatsat Big Blue Madness.
• Opportunity to attend private practices for football, men's basketball and women's basketball.
• Opportunity to travel with football, men's basketball and women's basketball to a selected game.
• Credentials to attend post-game press conferences for football, men's basketball and women's basketball.
• Increased ticket allotment (based on availability) for bowl game, SEC men's basketball tournament and NCAA men's basketball tournament.
