Conscious that we bear responsibility for the environment, as long ago as 1996 we implemented a fully integrated environmental management system, which was cer-tified by LRQA in accordance with the globally valid DIN ISO 14.001 standard. As an ecologically oriented enterprise we not only attach greatest importance to optimum product performance but also to optimum environmental compatibility. The certifica-tion attests that we deal sensibly with resources, with raw materials for the produc-tion as well as with energy and water, and that we also handle waste responsibly. “In our opinion, voluntary participation in this environmental management system is the right way towards continuous improvement of environmental protection,” says Birgit Große, GM Germany.

* The solvent regulation governs the requirements concerning surface cleaning devices. The operators of such devices have to give proof of their observing
the established VOC emission limit values because solvent fumes are hazardous to health and pollutive, and they carry a fire- and explosion hazard.
