15th Dec. 2009 • Dopo l'inaugurazione del 15 dicembre a Laterza (Taranto) del primo campo fotovoltaico da 2 Mw, la dirigenza

del Powercom-Yuraku Group ha annunciato la prossima apertura di altri 9 impianti fotovoltaici. La pipeline di progetti da 100 Mw si sta trasformando in realtà. «Adesso il mercato, nonostante la crisi economica globale, è assolutamente recettivo nei confronti del fotovoltaico.» ci dice il CEO del gruppo, Claudio Bencivengo: «E' il momento di investire ed è proprio quello che stiamo facendo».

• La società è nata come una joint venture fra la Powercom Co Ltd, colosso taiwanese verticalmente integrato con una capacità produttiva di 90 Mw annui, e la Yuraku Pte Ltd., azienda fortemente orientata alla produzione di energia da fonti rinnovabili con sede a Singapore, con lo scopo di contribuire efficacemente alla creazione di un sistema energetico basato sulle fonti rinnovabili. «Vogliamo realizzare centrali fotovoltaiche, implementare nuove tecnologie e giocare un ruolo di leader nel consolidamento del frammentato ed emergente mercato delle energie rinnovabili» spiega il COO Maurizio Previti «I nostri primi 11 impianti da 1Mw ciascuno daranno energia pulita a 4.950 famiglie, evitando l'immissione in atmosfera di di 7.870 tonnellate di CO2».

• Gli investimenti del gruppo in Italia si concentrano in Puglia, Lazio e Sicilia e porteranno all'apertura di diversi cantieri, con un ritorno anche sull'occupazione. Si calcola che più di 300 operai saranno impiegati nella realizzazione dei primi 11 impianti, un'ottimo risultato in aree del paese con gravi problemi di occupazione.
