Welcome to the 8th annual Ranch Ready Bull Sale. Our 8th offering looks to be our strongest yet.2012 brings big changes to the Ranch Ready Sale. The biggest change being a change in venue. We have moved the sale to Heartland Livestock, Swift Current. We had seven great years in Mankota; thanks to John Williamson and Evelyn Chanig. Swift Current is closer to home for both Braun Ranch and Gillespie Herefords. It's also more central for several of our customers.Donnie Peacock remains a cornerstone for our sale as auctioneer, as well as a good eye for cattle, for those who can't be in attendance sale day. On offer this year are 48 Top cut Ranch Ready Herefords. 25 stout, thick, easy keeping two year olds as well as 23 yearlings. This years sale offers some of the newest and most exciting sires. The yearling bulls on offer represent the top cut from both Braun Ranch and Gillespie Herefords. These yearlings will easily cover 20 cows. If you are unable to attend sale day, please feel free to contact any of the contributors or Donnie Peacock. We would be happy to help you select a bull and have a representitive bid on your behalf. He has left excellent calves for the Glass Family and we were fortunate enough to be able to use him. They are moderate framed and thick butted. Dam to 22Y is a medium framed Superman cow that traces back to a 39D Herman cow we purchased. Lots of natural thickness in this guys pedigree.
