Egan CenterExplorer’s Hall
Welcome to the Poster Session and Exhibits for the 2013 Alaska Marine Science Symposium. This year the location of the Poster Session and Exhibits will be in the Egan Center, Explorer’s Hall. Here is a
basic map on how to get there:
For posters, you can use this program is intended to guide your through the Poster sessions and the Exhibits. For Exhibits, simply refer to the diagram on pages 17-18. You’ll also find exhibiting organizations listed by full name on page 32.
You can use this program to locate posters by author or by topic. To find a particular first author, refer to the author index on pages 2-8. Or to browse by section (topic), use the list on pages 11-24. After you’ve found the poster listing, use the row # and poster # to locate the poster on the diagram on pages 9-10.
Note that poster presenters will be standing by their posters to answer questions during specified times called “Waves”. Simply cross-reference the “Wave #” on a particular poster listing to the Wave times shown at the bottom of this page.

2. You MUST have your poster down by the end of the second poster session on Tuesday at 9:00pm or risk the loss of your poster.
3. You can start putting up your poster by noon on Monday. Use this program to locate your position in the room for your poster location. There will be a large diagram poster in the lobby to assist you also.
4. T-pins and/or push-pins will be provided to assist with mounting your poster on the foam core boards of the poster panels. Folders for handouts are also provided.
5. Please DO NOT mount heavier items on the poster panels as they cannot take the weight of more than poster materials.
