It was another difficult year for the After-market and HKS, but after the 86 and BRZ

has come out, things look better.

HKS will keep devote ourselves for the happiness in driving and tuning for the year.

We will keep strengthen the systematic development of tuning parts and safety of

the products that has warranty of 3 years, 60,000km.

The whole world is in the trend of ecology and so is the automobiles market. But

while the most automobile makers release more and more of small and eco-car,

we think the old vehicles are still very attractive and will release attractive new

products for them.

Both the peak power and torque are improved. Intake sound is sportier which feels great.We have designed not to interfere with the stock ECU so doesn’t need to resetting. The engine room looks nicer with the polished aluminum pipe.

Feature

Stock recirculation valve has almost no sound but by installing Super SQV Ⅳ you can hear cool blow off sound which make your vehicle stand out. Setting the Super SQV Ⅳ in front of the engine make cool exterior in the en-gine room.There was no engine stall for our test with this product.

It will have better intake efficiency by changing the stock rubber suction hose with the buff finished high efficient aluminum pipe and Super Hybrid Filter. And we also designed it not to interfere with stock control which make it safe and stable for everyday use.

LA Clutch Series adds Toyota 86 (ZN6) and Subaru BRZ (ZC6) to its line up.To compliment use with the GT Supercharger kit, torque capacity is rated at 400Nm (41Kgm / 295lbft) which approximates to 295kw (400ps). This su-perior capacity for a single plate clutch allows full use of 86/BRZ with high power levels. As well as torque capacity, light weight and ease of operation where also balanced making fitment to NA vehicles feel natural with in-creased response which facilitates quick shifting.

● 100% synthetic blend oil can maintain the stable property of heat resistance and abrasion resis-tance not only for stock diesel engines but also for tuned diesel engines. In-house tests of thisSuper Racing Diesel Oil were conducted both in Japan and overseas where the major market ofthe diesel engine vehicles.

■ Viscosity

　It all began from the 2nd D1GP at SUZUKA. HKS Racing Performer 86 placed at 5th for the first battle, and made at 3rd place at AUTOPOLIS. It seemed everything was going fine for the start. But in the next D1GP at EBISU and CENTRAIR HKS Racing Performer 86 didn’t do well. And now the final battle at ODAIBA! HKS 86 increased the engine displacement, changed the tire size and give more steering angle for the better performance.

In the Saturday morning the test drive was good. But very important turning seemed not sharp enough so we have put more weight on the rear to have a better traction and entered the TANSO final drift. 1st run was not good enough in turning like the test drive. But for the 2nd run, N. Taniguchi drifted one of the best for the sea-son. The speed, turning, cornering, line trace, all seemed perfect and cool. He ranked 4th for the TANSO drift. And for the final TUISO drift, N. Taniguchi competed with Fujinaka who drives 3 rotor turbo. HKS 86 has less power but the short distance course of ODAIBA was better match with HKS 86 than the opponent. Taniguchi could defeat Fujinaka and made up to best 8. The next opponent is Saito with 800ps power monster machine. Saito is tough drifter to beat, but Taniguchi was in good condi-tion and didn’t let Saito to beat him. It was close one but HKS 86 defeated the monster and step up for the semi-final. Next opponent was Utsumi who won the TANSO drift and definitely in a good condition. For the 1st drift, Taniguchi kept drift-ing close to Utsumi but didn’t have good and sharp angle and lost an advantage. And 2nd drift Utsumi drifted right next to the HKS 86 and won the battle. Finally the battle for 3rd place, Taniguchi battled against Sakuma who is driving S15. The 1st run Sakuma beat Taniguchi. And 2nd run Taniguchi followed right behind Sakuma and beat him. For the 3rd and final drift HKS 86 did win the battle and made to the 3rd place!

For the 2012 D1GP, HKS was rather trying to develop a better product than winning the tournament. We could have replaced stock parts for more power but we didn’t. So we were having many troubles in the machines and for the tournament. But all this experience and problems happened in the D1 will be feedback into the next HKS product development and provide better and powerful products in the future.Thank you all for your support and see you again in the next D1!

It’s been 16 years since we served EVO owners in Aomori and 10 years in Yokohama. We can tune from the light tuning for daily city drive to hard tuning for race in the circuit or drag. We have been provided our best service to customer’s variety of needs. Recently we are also tuning R35 and VELLFIRE.
