Avi ben Mordechai 2013 Lecture Series HaBrit haChadashah (The New Covenant) “A Marriage Made In Heaven” According to Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:10, Yeshua taught all those that want to pursue true spirituality, to pray in the following manner: "Thy Kingdom Come. Thy Will Be Done, On Earth as it is in Heaven." This statement is very, very powerful and it is time that we learn some of the depths of its meaning, as we live day to day! To help us understand what these words mean, we will focus upon the teaching of Israel’s prophet Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:22, which I believe is an important preamble to the actual “New Covenant” text of Jeremiah 31:31M34! The underlying source of the Jeremiah 31:22 preamble is a teaching about a marriage that is made in heaven! This will take us to Shemot (Exodus) 20:18M19. When we understand the principles of how a divine marriage works in Heaven, according to Genesis 2:18M24 and Genesis 3:16M19, then we can begin to apply the learned principles to our marriages on Earth, which will then teach us what it means to pray according to Yeshua's words in Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:10 M "Thy Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven." This upcoming lecture series is NOT a cluster of theory and rhetoric! We will actually come to learn some core principles about HOW to practice and walk in the New Covenant! All this starts with understanding the delicate and often trying relationship that exists between a husband and wife. From this, we will learn how to apply the Divine New Covenant principles to everyday life, as we seek to relate to one another. As part of this lecture series… From Hebrew, we will learn about the Masculine and Feminine attributes that are built into the four letters of the Divine Name YHVH From Hebrew, we will learn the “clinging” or joining principle of Genesis 2:24 From Hebrew, we will learn the “desire” and “ruling” or leadership principle of Genesis 3:16 From human anatomy, we will learn some spiritual aspects about the structure of DNA and further learn what the spiritual role of a woman is by looking at the physical role of a woman in pregnancy. This will also teach us about what it means to be "born again." We will learn the Divine principles of giving and receiving, filling and encircling or wrapping as we see in the Jewish custom of marriage, when a bride encircles her groom seven times under the marriage canopy (the Chupah).
