Great Britain is the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and the modern world. Our inventiveness and entrepreneurial spirit are the cornerstones of Britain's past success. We intend to build our economy on these principles. Free from the EU we can increase trade with the growing world economies and be able to safeguard British jobs for British workers.

Freedom and Democracy

Freedom and democracy are under attack in Britain, and none of the mainstream parties seem much concerned. Thousands of laws from the European Union diminish our control over national affairs, whilst a growing corpus of 'hate' legislation leads many to arrest and imprisonment merely for saying the wrong

thing. Libertygb believes that the freedom to speak one's mind is a fundamental right in a free democracy. And we are determined to keep it that way.

Islam

Libertygb considers the threat of Islamist extremism in the 21st century to be comparable to that of Nazism in the 20th century. This is not driven by a racial/ religious dislike of Muslims, but by the knowledge of the violent and expansionist history of Islam driven by the Koranic verses laid out by the prophet and warlord Mohammed. The Islamic colonisation of Britain must be resisted at all costs if our children are to enjoy the freedoms

Law and Order

The lawlessness that blights many of our towns and cities and destroys the quality of life of the people that live there will not be tolerated. Libertygb aims to make Britain once

again a country where criminals fear the consequences of their actions; where women, children, the elderly and vulnerable feel safe to walk in town centres, streets and housing estates by day or by night.

Libertygb will address all the political issues Great Britain currently faces, something the three main parties (along with UKIP) so conspicuously fail to do. The Liberal Democrats, Labour and Conservatives manifestly refuse to discuss the most important issues of our time, namely mass immigration from the EU and Third World, the steady rise of fundamentalist Islam and the hijacking of traditional British culture and institutions by well-organised left-wing 'progressives'.

Britain could be a wonderful country again, but it will take politics bordering on the revolutionary to achieve this vision. If you are of similar mind, Libertygb welcomes your participation.

Libertygb is aiming for a British cultural renaissance, self determination and a government that looks after its own people first.

Culture and Immigration

Claims by the liberal Left that multiculturalism and mass immigration have made Britain both richer and stronger are simply not true. The impoverished, divided state that Britain is in today is testament to that. Libertygb believes that unity, common values and a shared cultural identity have always been the real strength of Britain. We plan to put a stop to mass immigration and reassert the traditional British way of life.

Education

An industrial country's future wealth is determined by its education system. Poor education = poor country. Therefore education is a top priority. We will do away with the leftist education doctrine of reducing everything to the lowest common denominator and put a system in place where every child gets the chance to achieve their full potential. Access to skills-based training for young people and adults is necessary for their personal development and advancement in the work place.

Energy and Transport

Essential for Britain's security and economic growth is to be fully energy self-sufficient and to have an integrated transport system. We plan to achieve this by investing in nuclear and new technologies, and renationalising the railways.

Foreign Policy & Defence

Although Libertygb is committed to honouring Britain's international commitments and intends to be very proactive in promoting Britain's trade and interests abroad, we do not believe that it is Britain's role to police the world or support its poor. The first consideration in our foreign policy will always be, "Is it in Britain's best interest?"

We are determined to ensure that our Armed Forces and security services receive the funding and recognition that they need and deserve. It is important that Britain maintains a full spectrum of capability. We plan to put the writing of regular defence reviews into the hands of an all-party Commons Committee with the reports to be debated in the Commons before the defence budget is set. This would prevent Treasury pressures from dictating the report.

We are fully committed to NATO but resolute that British Armed Forces are not an extension of America's.

Agriculture and Environment

After unshackling ourselves from the European Union, we will be free to develop our own national agricultural strategy. With a growing demand on the world markets for food it is important that Britain grows as much of its own food supply as possible. It is also important is that we balance this with protecting the health and beauty of our countryside.

Libertygb was founded for the purpose of providing a reactionary opposition to the liberal Left’s bullish determination to force Britain into a multicultural socialist federal Europe.

Over past decades they have used a stratagem of mass immigration, multiculturalism and political correctness to achieve their aims. The damage done to our economy and the detrimental effects of this to society are viewed as acceptable collateral damage if it leads to their ultimate goal.

Left unhindered they will succeed, and our once proud and independent nation will be no more.
