of our athletes that have 3.5 GPA or higher.

  • 2013-14 For the Good of the Cause

    2. The tremendous post season success of our athletes. Over the last 5 years we are averaging 16 IHSAA and DAC titles per season. We also average 70 state qualifiers

each year and have had as many as 100 in one season.

    3. Dog Tale Affair– Earned over $600,000.00 the last 9 years. This has provided top notch equipment for our athletes and has secured our financial future. The dog tale

affair has also given us credibility in the community.

    4. The fact that 97% of our athletes have passed the ISTEP and 96% of our athletes are on the academic honors diploma.

    5. The creation of our pre-season parents meeting has provided a vehicle of communication and an opportunity to form lasting relationships with our parents and

    stakeholders.

    6. The dramatic increase in athletic participation (our numbers have more than doubled over the last 10 years). We currently have processed almost 900 physicals through

two seasons and we anticipate our final participation number after spring sports to be

    close to 1200 athletes.

    7. We decided years ago to make it our mission to promote education based athletics and provide opportunities for kids so they can participate and be a part of programs that

promote values and teach life skills such as service, respect, integrity, leadership,

perseverance, teamwork and friendship. This is why most of our sports have no cut

policies. Mr. Dorulla, Athletic Director, believes that this has been the catalyst for all
