Cura mobile is a mobile application which can be downloaded

from Google and App Store and its main function is to manage

resident’s record and point-of-care medication. It will help

caregivers make better decisions and proper recommendations

on the urgency of the clinical response required.

What is Cura Mobile?

This application is powered by National Early Warning Score

(NEWS), developed by a multidisciplinary group commissioned

by Royal College of Physicians (RCP), London, United Kingdom.

NEWS - this is for NEWS calculation with Alerts. This will link to Reports when People profile has been created.

Profile

• Shows set of people profiles

• Shows state of the patient based on NEWS results

• Shows alphabetical order for easy navigation

• Can add more profiles by using Add button

• Click on the name it will link to the View screen or click

on edit/delete

Profile-Add

• For first time user – people add

screen will be the first load page.

• Add People – is not compulsory

• If no People profile – user can only

access NEWS and settings. NEWS

results will not sync (not reminder)

nor generate any reports.

Profile - Add identity

• Age will auto populate after fill in the

D.O.B.

• Able to add more than one caregiver

Medication

• Create a medication for

people

• Shows dosage and

frequency of medicine.

• Notes can slide down to add

note.

Medication - Notes

• Notes are captured with the

updated date and time.

• User can clear the notes if

required.

Medication - Add

• Upload medicine- click on this it

will activate the mobile

camera.

• Dosage will have two options:

Tablets, Syrups. It will increment by 0.5 and start From 0.5.

• Frequency will have by days,

weeks, Months options.

• When – max. can have four times

Medication - Week

• Instructions – can input instructions.

• Notes – medication notes can be

added here

• Remind Me – system default will be

having a Reminder. However, user can

click to disable.

• This reminder will link to reminder screen.

• Reminds on the timing and also the

duration for the new Prescription.

Medication - Months

• Medication frequency can be

assigned for months.

• When – indicates to select month

of the year, then which day of the month. Thereafter schedule time to

take the medicine.

Medication - View

• View medication detail

• Can also edit when user click

on edit from the main screen

• User able to disable the

reminder for the medication

Notification - Reminder

• User will receive a notification for the

Reminder.

• Reminder from the NEWS and

Medication

• This is a notification screen therefore User can click close to close the pop

up screen.

• Take later and later will trigger the

Reminder.

NEWS

• When user click on ‘NEWS’,

system will load a flash screen

to acknowledge NEWS

copyright.

• After this screen display it will go to NEWS Main screen.

• Without people profile, user can still

access NEWS screen and input

information however no reminder

and report will be store.

• NEWS Result – auto calculate base

on the input

• NEWS Monitoring Freq – depend on

the NEWS Results trigger. This links to

the Reminder

• Level of consciousness: Alert,

Voice, Pain and Unresponsive

• Date & Time: selected by the user

NEWS – Escalation Plan

• Click on Escalation plan – user

able to input the information

with date and time.

• User can record the score by selecting the people name

from Drop down.

• The list shown in dropdown can

contain items up to 6. If more,

then user can slide it.

Settings

• User can make setting according to

his preferences.

• Time zone –based on Home Time

Zone or Location Time zone.

• Can choose identification

preference by Passport, NHS number

or others.

• Can choose Temperature units

Settings – Repeat Alert

• Can set to Repeat Alert in

minutes.

Reports

• Reports shown based on the selection made.

• Select 1(dropdown1) and

Select2(dropdown2).

The options in select2 are based on

Selection made in Select1.

Eg: Selection 1 is : Reports by Days

Selection 2: Last 3 days or Last 2 days…

Reports - Charts

• When the user clicks on charts tab

The user can select to view the chart for

the Vital signs. The chart shown will

depict readings taken.

• This chart monitors the temperature

pattern for the patient.

It shows the temperature reading, date, time and who had taken the reading.

Reports - Charts

• It displays the information in

detail on clicking the pointer.

• This shows the Heart Rate

readings.

• It shows the normal range by

highlighting in grey scale.

• Here the normal range for Heart

Rate is 51 to 90 Beats per

minute.

Locate

• Locate shows the nearest

available GP, Clinics and

Hospitals available to the user

address.

Locate – Contact Us

• Locate shows the contact details for customer support.

Reminder

• User able to view the reminder

screen

• Reminder from the NEWS results

and Medication

• Take later and later will trigger

the Reminder and the repeat reminder will be based on the

settings.
