� EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED)

� Will replace the existing R&TTE Directive.

� The text of the Directive was adopted by the Members of the EU Parliament on 13 March 2014 and is now awaiting approval by the EU Council and then publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

� Publication is expected later this year.
