Scholarship
Inspiring FaithAt Justin-Siena, students are invited to explore their relation-
ship with God. Our religious studies program, accompanied by a
wide array of faith formation activities, provides opportunities for
students to learn how to nurture their faith while responding as
Christians to the needs of others.
A MISSION WITH A RICH HISTORY
Justin-Siena is a Catholic high school in the Lasallian tradition called to provide educational excellence in a Christ-centered community that prepares students to serve and to lead in an ever-changing world.
In 1966, Justin High School for boys (sponsored by the De La Salle Christian Brothers) and Siena High School for girls (sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael) were founded.
In 1972, the schools merged and became co-educational under the name of Justin-Siena High School. The De La Salle Christian Brothers became the sole sponsor of Justin-Siena in June 2006. With such a rich heritage, Justin-Siena bears a distinction of educational excellence that ensures the school is always moving forward. We take pride in our current students and graduates who con-tinue to serve and lead in their communities.
OUR JOURNEY BEGAN IN 17TH CENTURY FRANCE
The De La Salle Christian Brothers is a Roman Catholic teaching order founded in France in 1680 by John Baptist de La Salle, a Catholic priest. Originally serving the purpose of educating the young, with a particular concern to those of modest or limited means, the De La Salle Christian Brothers currently sponsor approximate-ly 1,000 institutions in more than 80 countries around the world. St. John Baptist de La Salle is regarded today as the patron saint of all teachers. It is from this rich legacy lasting more than 330 years that we celebrate our Lasallian traditions every day throughout our campus, and in all that we do.
ScholarshipAs a college preparatory school, our curriculum is designed for
students to be competitive for college placement, while becoming
young men and women inspired to put their faith into action, to
apply their knowledge for the benefit of others, and to embrace
their bravery from within.
COMMITMENT TO ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
With a broad spectrum of courses including 22 honors and AP classes, as well as standard college preparatory courses, Justin-Siena students are well prepared for college. Students are challenged academically to help them realize their full potential. For a full list of academic courses visit www.justin-siena.org.
At Justin-Siena, we integrate technology into the curriculum and throughout campus life. With a 1:1 iPad program and a robust wireless campus, students have essential access to the tools they need to excel. Teachers expect use of technology for presentations, research, and more.
PREPARATION FOR AN EVER-CHANGING WORLD
Building relationships with students is a hallmark of Lasallian educators. Our faculty and staff see their work as a vocation, not a job, and this reflects in the nurturing way they get to know students as individuals. Teachers engage with each student to bring out his or her unique gifts and talents.
Our Guidance Department is an important resource for students, providing meaningful personal and academic counseling. From course selection to crisis intervention, our counselors provide a caring environment for students and their families.
With an emphasis on ensuring success in college and in life, our counselors assist students with the college discernment process. Counselors advise students regarding college admission, present financial assistance workshops, and invite more than 50 colleges and universities to speak with Justin-Siena students, including hosting an impressive College Fair.
“Because we have been educated in values and skills that cannot be measured in letter grades or standardized scores, and because we have become part of the Justin-Siena com-munity, we are ready for the future. Wherever we are going, we will face challenges. But we will not be alone. Armed with strength and compassion, drawn from our faith and the support of our community, we are prepared for success.”

BraveryVibrant co-curricular programs enhance student life by engaging
young people in unique activities including spiritual development,
service, athletics, and the arts while developing and exercising
personal leadership skills and being of service to the greater
community.
TEACHING MORE THAN JUST THE GAME
Justin-Siena, home of the Braves, is committed to offering various athletic ac-tivities. Competing in the Marin County Athletic League (MCAL), more than 75% of the student body participates in one or more of the 45 teams offered. With top-notch facilities, numerous championships and titles, college schol-arship offers, and a highly regarded coaching staff, the school ensures that each student athlete reaches his/her potential. Student athletes thrive in the camaraderie of teammates while learning practical skills to lead fulfilling lives.
CREATIVE EXPRESSION
Recognizing that creative expression is an important element in a well-rounded education for the many life skills it teaches, Justin-Siena offers several programs for budding performing artists. In the acclaimed Justin-Siena Theatre Program, students can lend their talents on or off stage from acting, singing, and dancing, to lighting and sound, costumes, and set construction. Our music program of-fers concert, jazz, choral ensembles, and more. Our innovative dance program wows crowds with several performances a year demonstrating a broad spectrum of dance genres. Visiting guest artists give students additional exposure to the many opportunities in the arts.
A CALL TO SERVE
Students are challenged to put their faith into action. Service to others is central to a Catholic Lasallian education allowing students to discover a world that is desperate for their contributions. Service opportunities are endless, including immersion trips, local aid, and charity drives. Students are further encouraged to identify needs within their own communities and respond.
Justin-Siena’s Residential Life program receives students 9th through 12th grade.
The student residence is located in a beautiful home on the north side of campus and is comprised of domestic and international students from around the globe. The house, can accommodate up to 28 students.
Student Residents will experience:
• College-prep, residential experience
• Convenience to campus
• Enrichment activities
• Global connections
• Structured and focused study time
• Safe and supervised environment
• Single rooms

with ParentsPartnering
Parents are key partners in ensuring a student’s success. Justin-Siena parents
are involved in the life of the school by volunteering, participating in sporting
and performing arts events, and supporting key fundraising initiatives. We en-
courage parents to get involved at whatever level possible by offering time,
expertise, and financial support.
In addition to tuition, all parents are asked to participate in the annual
Parent Pledge program by making a 100% tax deductible donation each year
your student attends Justin-Siena. A gift of $1,500 or more helps to bridge
the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating a student. It enables
the school to maintain a balanced budget and ensures access to the very best
resources required by a distinguished college preparatory environment.
