DIONYSUS: PARTY IN THE PARKING LOT

Audience: Approximately 1,000 studentsDeadline: February 15, 2015

Each year Trent students come together to celebrate the end of another year and the beginning of summer in our annual festival called Dionysus. The event will be happening in early April of 2015. Dionysus is the Greek god of wine, ritual madness and elation. While there may not be ritual madness, Trent students certainly know how to party. Dionysus regularly sees upwards of a thousand Trent students come out to join in the festivities.

Shirt SponsorshipT-shirts are available for purchase each year at Dionysus with all proceeds going to a local charity. These t-shirts are a constant fixture in Trent student life as they are continually worn throughout a student’s time at Trent and beyond. Sponsoring our Dionysus shirts will get your business logo on the back of the shirt and have a great amount of exposure. Shirts sell out quickly almost every year so make sure to take advantage of this great advertising opportunity.

WE ACCEPT DONATIONS

INSURANCE

Throughout the school year, students are able to pick up free donated items at our main office on a first-come first-serve basis. Some of the items which we often distribute include hygiene products, school supplies and various treats. Businesses can advertise their products and services by providing items to our students, who accept these items as a “pick-me-up” from school stress. We welcome coupons, small fliers or business cards from participating businesses and we will ensure that these are distributed with donated items.

When booking a table through the Trent Central Student Association, insurance is available for those vendors that:

a) do not currently hold liability insurance;b) would like to be insured while tabling at Trent; orc) are considered high risk vendors (i.e. selling or displaying items that could cause personal harm).

Cost of the insurance is $24/day. If you would like to purchase liability insurance for your vendor day, please complete a User Group Certificate Request Form from Marsh, which is available on our website.
