Bestbuy Shareholders from across Canada gathered in Mississauga forour 60th Annual General Meeting on February 21st, The Friday meetingwas informative and highlighted the achievements Bestbuy enjoyed in2013, and future success going forward with a positive ‘WELCOME TOPROGRESS’ theme. A full-morning agenda was capped off with severaldifferent industry speakers in the afternoon.
The AGM wasn’t all business... there was a large turnout of 185 for theFriday evening cocktails & dinner! Shareholders and suppliers savoured the delectable taste of California, NewZealand & Australia, which was inspired by ‘The Club’ 2015 Shareholder Incentive trip.

Our proclaimed Board of Directors pre-sented a $35,000 cheque to The Family
Heart Centre at the Hospital For Sick Children. Dr. Robert Hamilton, Director of Cardiology was on-hand to exceptthe donation. Bestbuy has been supporting this worthy cause since 1986 and has contributed in excess of$680,000.00!

After dinner, the crowd enjoyed a humurous experience watchingaudience participants on stage under the spell of Comic Hypnotist‘Jerry Enns.’ We had a good number of volunteers, but the besthypnosis of the evening goes to participants Mary Devlin ofHalton Automotive, Farrukh Alam of Alam’s Auto Parts and ChrisHolder of Vision-OE pictured left. A big round of applause wasgiven at the end for an entertaining & fun evening.
