A welcomelike no other
Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2
are truly remarkable. Their elegant lines capture exactly what a classicocean liner should look like. No wonder the spotlight often falls uponthem in overseas ports. Their very arrival and departure createsexcitement. It’s something you’ll especially appreciate once on board.Standing on deck and waving farewell, you can hear chatter filled withanticipation. That’s how all Cunard holidays start, on every ship. Here’s a quick introduction to each Queen and where she’ll be betweenJanuary 2014 and early January 2015.
QUEEN ELIZABETH is wonderfullymodern, with beautiful Art Deco detailing. In January 2014, she starts a 118-nightcircumnavigation visiting 40 ports in 23countries, which includes her first ever visit toJapan. Returning in May 2014, she thenembarks on a new full season ofMediterranean Cruises, stretching right to thebeginning of December. This offers theperfect combination of the very bestMediterranean destinations with anincredible choice of seven, 14 and 21 nightholidays, before two short cruises and anAtlantic Isles festive season.
QUEEN VICTORIA is graceful andluxurious, today’s version of great liners past.In January 2014, she seeks out the sights –and winter sunshine – of South America,Australia, Pacific islands and North America
on her World Voyage. During 2014, a seriesof no-fly cruises explores Baltic shores,Norway’s fjords, Iceland, the Mediterraneanand Iberia and the Canary Islands – whereshe spends Christmas before a five-nightNew Year celebration closer to home.
QUEEN MARY 2 is our flagship, granderthan any other Cunard liner, whereinnovation and style sit side by side. Shestarts 2014 – her 10th anniversary year –in some style, circling the continents on herlatest World Voyage, returning to arendezvous with both sisters for one of thevery few times in history on 9 May 2014.From May to January 2015, she crosses theAtlantic 19 times, some with calls to Halifax, just as she – and Cunard – always has done.Northern Europe, North America and theCaribbean will also welcome her next year.
You may wonder why our
three ships are so special.
Like all sisters, they have their
own unique personality – and
possess strong family traits,
including the famous red and
black funnel, a symbol that
hints at the elegance on board.

Daytime activities, from theenergetic to the relaxed
On our ships, no two days are ever quite the same. That’s down to thehuge number of activities on offer. These allow you to decide how anygiven hour will unfold – enriching, strenuous or seriously pampered. Ofcourse, you don’t have to do anything.
Aerobics, yoga or sunrise stretch classes on deck are just some excuses to take in the morning air. Later, tango and linedancing classes are energetic and fun. Thedaily crossword sharpens the mind. You maydrop by the wine-tasting seminar in theafternoon, while the secrets of auctioneeringor weather forecasting are revealed duringtoday’s Cunard’s Insights workshops. Someactivities you’ll only find on certain ships. Like Queen Elizabeth’s unique art tour orher panel quiz shows, specially written during your voyage. Fencing lessons providea chance to try something new on Queen Victoria or the NordicWalking poles on Queen Elizabeth
offer a sociable occasion for exercise.
QUEEN MARY 2 offers 3D filmscreenings that include the latestblockbusters and operatic masterpieces.
If today is about taking it easy, the blissfulspa can indulge you with its menu ofmassages and uplifting treatments. You’llnever be short of holiday reading either. Theimpressive library sees to that, and the BookClub is meeting later for an informal chat overa cappuccino. In warm weather, the spaciousopen deck is always inviting – maybe for adip in the outdoor pool before tea. Theshuffleboard tournament is also starting soon. The best part is that, having done so much(or so wonderfully little) throughout the day,a glittering evening still lies ahead.
