2014 DCA Dinner Thursday, October 16, 2014 The theme for this season’s event could have been Some Enchanted Evening. There were cool tropical breezes, poignantly touching moments and a truly heavenly feast. Justice Charles Canady of the Florida Supreme Court, along with Judges Charles Davis, Chris Altenbernd and Morris Silberman were our special guests for the evening. Our three newest attorneys, Blaze Douglas, Ryan Tarnow and Michele Visconti, had the rare privilege of being sworn in by Justice Canady. Judge Jim McGarity was our emcee for the evening and presented the Lion of the Law Award for Yale Freeman. Unfortunately Yale could not be with us for the evening, so his good friend, Jim Bonaquist, accepted on his behalf.
