The Australian Pro Tour is a stepping stone to the ATP/WTA Tours. It features professional level events that offer players both prize money and ranking points.

The Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba International (HBTI) is a relatively new event on the Australian Pro Tour schedule but it has already shown signs of significant growth potential. Having commenced as a Men’s only event in 2012 the HBTI added a Women’s Draw in 2013 effectively doubling the size of the event in just one year.

Offering USD$30,000 in prize money and opportunities to earn all-important world ranking points , the HBTI has become a popular tournament for the future stars of world tennis. This was highlighted by the fact the 2013 HBTI was awarded the Newcombe Medal as Australia’s Most Outstanding Tournament.

In addition to providing opportunities for elite players to develop their careers the HBTI promotes tennis and active lifestyles in the area by delivering a range of community activations and associated events.

RACQ CareFlight is again the Charity Partner for the 2014 Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba International.

A number of fund raising activities will be conducted by RACQ CareFlight in association with the event. This will include:

* Peer to Peer fundraising by teams participating in the Hutchies Corporate Challenge presented by Taylor’s Removals.

* Raffle ticket and merchandise sales during the event.

Subject to community needs the RACQ CareFlight helicopter will once again be present on Finals Day with the male and female Champions set to experience a view of Toowoomba like no other!!
