Original Properties – cured 30 minutes 154°C

Silicone Septa

A 40 durometer white, addition cured silicone rubber compound that meets ASTM D2000M3FE408

Original Properties – cured 20 minutes at 160°C postcured 4 hrs at 200°C

PTFE Film

PTFE (Teflon®) is a fluorocarbon film that has excellent chemical and temperature resistance.

PTFE exhibits very low permeability to liquids, gases, moisture, and organic vapours. For septa, it is used in conjunction with all polymers and is the barrier of choice for many applications.
