ventana designs, supplies, and installs high performing
curtain wall façade systems. by working closely with the
design team, we can ensure a competitively priced façade
that is water and air tight, and allows for optimal thermal
control of the interior space. traditionally, the façade is one
of the major risk factors on any building, and the team at
ventana has a proven track record of taking the risk and
delivering superior façade systems that guarantee long-term
performance.

ventana’s management team strives to get “hands-on” with projects as early
as possible. we welcome the opportunity to work through the design phase
with developers, owners, architects and general contractors to help provide
the best possible solution to fit your specific needs. similarly, we understand
the overall schedule is critical to a project’s success, and we pride ourselves
on our ability to complete quality projects in time frames that our competitors
find daunting. our network of system designers and engineers is second to
none, and we offer visually stunning facades while maintaining great system
performance, without compromising budget or schedule.

ventana specializes in and offers design assist services to our customers. the design assist process has proven to be very effective in mitigating the risk posed by complex design requirements, and the use of emergent materials and specialized technology. design assist is essentially a method to involve the necessary specialty expertise as early as possible in the design process. a compelling reason to embrace a design assist strategy is that it greatly facilitates fast track delivery and schedule acceleration, while removing waste and redundancy from the procurement process. the design assist contracting method is a key component in a broad, integrative
process evolution that is bringing fundamental change to the building industry, and ventana has deep experience with this methodology.
traditional Bid services
ventana offers budgeting services in addition to hard bidding. ventana can also assist with scheduling, phasing and logistics plans, as well as installation procedures.

Alliance Center is ideally located on the “Buckhead Loop” ( Lenox Road ) near GA 400 in the Buckhead Business District of Atlanta. This development includes the 20-story One Alliance Center and the 24-story Two Alliance Center - together totaling over 1,000,000-SF of class A office space. Discretely sited parking structures offer approximately 1,800 parking spaces and blend into their surroundings while helping to define an active urban park setting in the heart of Buckhead. Two Alliance Center is LEED Gold Certified and is the first Buckhead office building to achieve this distinction.

Located in the central Loop, the Wit is fronted by a slashing chartreuse zigzag (dubbed “the lightning bolt” by the hotel’s marketers) across the 27-story glass façade, a bold move made more surprising by those looking closely at the fine print—the 298-guest-room Wit is part of the usually humdrum Doubletree Hotel chain, hardly known as a boutique hotelier. “Boutique hotels are location-centric,” says Koo, who credits the coveted site in Chicago’s theater district with convincing the chain to take the project in a more offbeat direction.
The small, 9,500-square-foot corner site is filled to its limits by the 250,000-square-foot building, which was developed as two discrete pieces. The north half exposes the structure’s concrete frame, while the south comprises the hotel’s signature folded glass façade and the dynamic canted roof that rises toward the intersection of State and Lake streets. Breaking the mass of the slender building gives it a smaller scale on the streetscape—in contrast to its generally larger neighbors. The chartreuse glass of the lightning bolt bends to fill the canopy protecting the entrance—and casts its wickedly hip color onto pedestrians unlucky enough not to stay at the hotel.

The five-story building comprises 280,000 square feet of office, conferencing and training space, enabling collaboration through open office concepts, shared work spaces, and the deployment of the latest technologies to connect internal and external employees, partners and customers. The space will initially serve 550 employees and is able to accommodate a total of 800.
The building serves as a living case study of Panduit’s Unified Physical Infrastructure (UPI) approach, which gives enterprises the capabilities to connect, manage and automate communications, computing, power, control and security systems for a smarter business foundation.
Panduit teamed with leading global design, planning and strategic consulting firm Gensler, as well as with national engineering and construction firms Affiliated Engineers Inc., Continental Technologies, and Power Construction, to design this innovative building.

Westfield Old Orchard Mall is an open-air upscale shopping center in Skokie, Illinois. It is the third largest mall by total square footage in Illinois. Due to its open-air nature, retail in the promenade areas is not practical during most times of the year. To increase revenue and create a statement structure that will attract retailers and consumers alike, a 1,300 square foot Glass Cube is provided. This space will be available for retailers to lease the space during peak times and times of new product launches. The Glass Cube will also host informal gatherings and will be the backdrop for the summer concert series.
The location of the Glass Cube is at the intersection of three main promenades. This influences three different types of facades. As consumers approach from the north, the full height pivot glass doors filter people in. As consumers pass by the 20’-0” high display windows they are drawn in by the products on display. The south end of the Glass Cube is highlighted by full height glass accordion doors that completely open up to the long promenade to the south. This is where the Glass Cube Park is located and acts as an extension of the Glass Cube. The Glass Cube is a statement building at Westfield Old Orchard and will continue to draw new consumers and retailers into an exciting shopping experience.
