The session will explore:

Daily and Weekly Operational Performance Management Including Lineview and Natural Variation

The presentation will cover:

Deep Dive Tour: World Class Quality and Safety – How?

The safety of the workforce at CCE Sidcup is of paramount importance and is at the top of the agenda in everything the company do. Over the last 5 years CCE’s Lost Time Accident rate has decreased from 1.75 in 2009 to 0 in 2013 through the dedicated work of everyone on the site focusing on safety when carrying out any job they do. The success of the safety program at Sidcup can be put down to the fact it is owned by everyone throughout the entire business, which empowers the individual to not only look after his or her safety but of their colleagues as well.

John Burton, Senior Manager Quality Environment Safety and Health CCE

Deep Dive Tour: Sustainability and CRS

Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability plays a fundamental role in day to day life at Sidcup. Over the years CCE have seen a number of initiatives that have supported both Energy and Water savings to this site. Since 2007 Sidcup have successfully delivered a waste water reduction of 71%, this is a significant reduction on the amount of water that is needed to produce a litre of finished goods. To support this they have also reduced their sites Carbon Emissions by 24% since 2009. These achievements were completed by engaging the workforce into supporting projects and initiatives on site. CCE also support their local community by working alongside the WWF and North West Kent Country Partnership in planned works on the River Cray that flows alongside this site. The works completed so far have delivered improvements in river water quality and improvements in its surrounding habitat. These initiatives are always supported by volunteers from the Sidcup team.
