REAL WOOD

Veneer – That is real wood in its most beau-tiful form. Veneer is the best thing that can be made from wood. Many of the bedroom and living room lines in our catalogue are made with real wood veneer – every single piece of furniture is unique. Like a fingerprint of nature, the tree’s age, growth and origin are revealed in the growth rings and grain-ing of the wood. This unique appearance gives every single piece of furniture its very own charm – and adds a living aura and natural feeling to your home.

Only the very best wood is used to make veneers. Experience and know-how are called for when selecting the logs in the forest. In the subsequent, highly automated production processes, the selected logs are first cleaned, debarked, steamed in a spe-cial cooking process and then rotary-cut or sliced. This yields valuable, robust veneers

which are individually processed for use in the manufacture of furniture.

We exploit the creative potential inherent in the natural wood material to produce elegant furniture pieces radiating a homely atmosphere and the warmth of a naturally grown surface. Real wood veneer has a vel-vety feel and unmistakable charm. Furniture with such a veneer is very strong and easy to look after. It is therefore not surprising that people should have admired veneer for many centuries – even the ancient Egyptians used this rare material (for them) in this form.We hope that, with our admiration and enthusiasm for wood and veneer, we have aroused your curiosity to see what we have made with these materials. INTERIORPLANNINGYou do, of course, need to bring along your room’s dimensions ... but we, or our “furnplan” planning and furnishing software, take care of the rest.

In direct dialogue with the customer, we plan the design of a room on the basis of the chosen model line and can also include complex customised solutions. True to scale, the graphic display of products makes sure the furnishing plan is a visual experience for the cus-tomer. This is where furnplan also “thinks for itself”, automatically taking care of many planning steps and calculating prices.

The process starts by entering the floor plan, including all windows and doors. You can even define the chosen wall colour.

After selecting the model line, you can start furnishing. This is where you have all products from the model line at your disposal. Furniture can be moved around in any way to find the perfect solution. The main functions are available for quick access. Once the furnishing process has been completed on your screen, you can demonstrate and present various view-ing angles and lighting moods to your customer. Prices are calculated at the press of a button. This just leaves you to e-mail us the order.

furnplan saves you a lot of time and allows you to plan competent and impressive furnishing schemes. We offer seminars on the furnplan planning program specifically for furniture retail staff. In these seminars, our aim is to give all furnishing advisers a tool that’s informative and makes it easier to be successful in meeting our custom-ers’ specific furnishing wishes.

In our air-conditioned showroom we present the latest models from our bedroom, dining-room and liv-ing-room collections. The handy TV mount not only looks good and cleverly accommodates all the wiring to and from the TV set, but also makes for more dynamic viewing, for it allows the screen to be pivoted and turned as desired. Now, you can watch TV from the sofa or from the dining table with equal ease.

Tidy and yet always within sight: the unusual base element provides plenty of storage space for media devices, DVDs and everything else – and shows exactly what you want to see. Souvenirs can be displayed or the receiver and DVD player positioned behind glass and oper-ated by remote control without opening the flap door. The smartest networking option is the wireless one – which is why we make sure that your remote controls will also work „through the cupboard doors“. An IR repeater passes the infrared signals on to the particular device. This means that the DVD or Blu-ray player, games console and hi-fi equipment remain hidden away behind closed flaps, and yet can still easily be operated from the sofa. It‘s a little miracle of technology: you see the beauti-ful fronts, hear the best sounds – and enjoy the ultimate in user convenience.

Although connections are impor-tant, we don‘t always want to see them. MEDIA 4000 hides cables and power strips for media devices away behind the smart integrated cable flap – for neat and tidy results.

MEDIA 5000 is designed for media that can be integrated behind fronts in white, cubanit grey, pastel blue and blackberry colour. Upright and wall-mounted elements are combined in a personal style. Smart details add a special touch: external devices are elegantly integrated by a cable duct running the full width of the base unit. If desired, an IR repeater ensures unbroken remote control and LED spots provide indirect lighting.

Turn your living room into your own home cinema: impressive 60 inch screens are just as normal today as the popular 42 inch screen. The size of the room plays a crucial part in maximizing your enjoyment. Screen and TV element should match the living room, because the distance between them and the sofa decides your viewing quality.
