Welcome to our 15th annual bull sale. I recall last year I made a comment about the temps and
those cattle prices; well both still continue to amaze me. I hope your ride along with this cattle market has
been as rewarding as ours. This set of bulls has not disappointed in any aspect. The uniformity from top to
bottom widens with every offering. It definitely is getting to be more of an argument each fall which bulls
get the knife. For what its worth there is 20 AI’ed sires and only 3 bull bred bulls in this catalog. We would
like to extend a big Thank You to the past customers for a great first 15 years and in the next 15 look forward
to serving both the repeat and new buyers that invest in an Assmus bull. Remember at Assmus Angus we
have he bull for you!
Statement from “The Cattle Team” at Northwest Veterinary and Supply: All sale bulls offered by Assmus An-
gus have met the rigorous health criteria set by the Assmus Family and raised in an excellent animal husbandry
practice setting. Northwest Veterinary and Supply has done a thorough breeding soundness exam and semen
evaluation on each bull for sale. Bulls have received their first pre-breeding vaccination, as well as being vac-
cinated for anthrax and footrot. All sale bulls have a negative BVD blood test. Health papers for interstate trav-
el are available for any animals purchased and being taken to another state. Additional testing may be required
prior to export depending on state of destination. Carcass ultrasound data was obtained by Jeff Schoenfelder of
Northwest Veterinary and Supply and certified by CUPS (Centralized Ultrasound Processing).

His dam is almost ten years old for a good reason. If you look at her weaning ratio I can think of six reasons.
With a stroke of lightning his mother was gone, but with a stroke of luck you can take him home.
