• Move railroad crossing from Cain Road to Deacon, add traffic signal: Enhance connectivity & congestion relief

• Widen Rock Prairie Road West to a 4-lane major collector: Increase capacity & provide congestion relief

• Align Barron Road with Capstone, add traffic signal: Improve connectivity, improve safety & reduce congestion at the intersections

FM 2818 Capacity Improvement

• Add eastbound lane between Wellborn Road and Luther Street: Reduce congestion, improve mobility, decrease commute time & increase capacity

Traffic Signals

• Provides signals at various intersections determined by the signal warrant study: Decrease congestion & increase safety

– Funding would provide approximately one signal per year over a 5 year period.

Sidewalks/ Oversized Participation

• Install sidewalks throughout the city: Replace aging infrastructure & construct new sidewalks

• Funding for over-sized participation: Enables the City to share in the cost of roadway improvements being constructed with private development projects

System Wide Park Improvements

11 park improvement initiatives are recommended for Nine parks. Improvements include:• Lighting: Increase usage & enhance security

• Parking: Increase access & availability

• Jogging trails: Provide additional amenities

• Playground and park upgrades: Encourage use, increase safety & maintain quality standards
