Alabama Scienceand Engineering FairFinalistsThe difference between these category awards and the ASEF ribbons received last Wednesday is that these are the true, top three projects each category. ASEF Ribbons are awarded on a ratio determined by the number of projects in a category. This allows a similar number of students to attend state from each category. We had 22 categories at the fair from elementary to senior, ranging from 4 to 50 projects per category. If only the projects awarded tonight were sent to ASEF, 66 projects would be able compete. NARSEF is sending 101 projects to ASEF to represent North Alabama.

Tonight we will recognize the top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each category.
