Making our best even better is what our engineers accomplished for the newly redesigned 3XL subwoofer series. Combining a new bold look with the innovation that the 3XL series is known for, PowerBass created our most accomplished Class D Subwoofer to date.

The 3XL series have been designed to withstand the extreme heat that the new generation Class D amplifiers create. Class D amplifiers heat up the woofers voice coil two to three times hotter and faster than a conventional class A/B amplifier. This calls for Xtreme measures and special parts to classify these as a true Class D Subwoofer. But hey, this is PowerBass. We have it under control.

First, we use industrial assembly glues that handle this excessive heat that would normally tear a conventional subwoofer apart. Then there is perimeter venting to allow air movement over the voice coil built into our custom die cut, cast aluminum basket. The basket works as a strong foundation for our heavy duty non-pressed raw pulp paper cone and redesigned inverted X dustcap. The roughness of the cone breaks up standing long waves for an even louder output resulting in greater SPL.

The 3XL Subwoofers all feature 3 HD BASV voice coil formers and CCAW high temperature voice coil winding to help dissipate heat. To allow full movement of the cone, we utilize an ultra high roll (U-turn) treated foam surround that increases the cone area for higher output along with linear cone stability throughout the subwoofers 3 of peak to peak excursion.

To make sure high voltages from the amplifier reach the subwoofers, we designed Pro-Lock terminals and incorporated FEA optimized Xtra Xtra Xtra large dual stacked magnets to handle the high power these subwoofers are designed for.

3XL Subwoofers are available in 12 and 15 sizes in either dual 1-OHM or dual 2-OHM versions to maximize your amplifiers power.

Updated with our new silver imprinted dustcap and sand blasted back plate finish, our XL subwoofers are designed to be bulletproof-reliable with all of the features of therest of the Xtreme range, but in a more affordable package.

Boasting a custom turbine style frameconstructed of polycarbonate and glassfiber, this unique basket supports dual stackmagnets and a chrome dome backplate.

We utilize a combination of perimeter and pole

venting to keep air circulating over the voice coil so everything stays cool.

Our XTA range of amplifiers consists of one 4-channel

and three Mono Class D amplifiers. These amplifiers have

been designed to provide enough sheer raw power to run

your system at full tilt no matter what kind of music you

listen to. By using oversized high density heatsinks we

have eliminated the need for internal cooling fans which

can introduce unwanted noise. To prove our point the

flagship Class D model XTA-6000D weighs in at nearly

45lbs while producing an incredible 6,000 wattstake

two and strap them together for a staggering 12,000

watts of heart pounding bass!

But we didnt stop with just pure power, these amplifiers

are chock full of built-in features like an electronic

12dB/octave electronic crossover, RCA line in and line

out, 18dB variable subsonic filters on the mono models,

and a Bass EQ circuit (complete with wired remote

control on our Class D models) that lets you vary the

boost 18dB at 45Hz. Inside you will find a neat laid out

double sided FR-4/D epoxy pc board with minimum

tolerance components, beefy hard would coils, and fast

switching transistors.

CLASS D AMPLIFIERS

The XL series was developed for the growing Power Sports market including UTV and Marine applicationswhere electronics must withstand harsh environments. The circuit boards have been conformally coated with a layer of transparent material that protects the parts against moisture, dust and temperature extremes.

These ultra small weather resistant amplifiers are ideal for all types of outdoor audio applications such as motorcycles, golf carts and off road vehicles. But the small size also makes these amps a great choice anywhere space is a premium. Utilizing the latest Class D circuit design these amplifiers may be small on size but they are big on power and have a much lower current draw compared to other amplifiers with similar power output. The wrap around aluminum heatsink keeps everything running cool. The four models include a two channel and four channel for full range and two

Our flagship coaxials received a major upgrade in both sound and performance while at the same time presenting a better value than ever before. We took our no compromise approach to sound quality and refined the drivers to perform even better by using an esoteric twill woven cone material known as S2 Fiberglass. Then we sealed the fiberglass with a gel coating to strengthen the cone and reduce resonance.

We tasked our Engineers to create speakers that would handle the volume, power and clarity that our customers have been asking for.

The Xtreme X-PRO Series was designed to be able to reproduce full range frequencies at very high volumes while remaining accurate and clear. The XPRO Series midrange speakers are available in 10, 8 and 6.5 in single 4-ohm or single 8-ohm configurations.

Featuring vented voice coils, large motor structures and treated double roll textile

surrounds, the new XPRO midrange has been engineered to blow away the competition.

To match the output of our new midrange speakers we have also created the XPRO-4H, a 4-inch Cast Aluminum Horn Tweeter. The XPRO-4H features a 1.75 Voice Coil and 150 watts power handling that allow for excessive distortion free volume. When you need to be louder than the rest, the PowerBass XPRO Series is your solution.

Our 6.5 Powersport coaxial was designed for great sound outdoors in a variety of applications. Intended for use in UTVs, golf carts, Side by Sides or boats, this versatile speaker is equally at home off road or on the water. Rest assured this is not just a standard speaker labeled marine. A special trampoline gasket was designed to hug the tweeter pole and protect the voice coil from the elements. Next we designed a oversized unique 1-inch mylar dome tweeter

with diffuser to deliver loud clean highs, while a polypropylene woofer cone provides tight bass and water resistance. A steel basket treated with powder coated paint, gold plated input terminals and moisture sealing mounting gasket all work together to resist corrosion and extend the life of the speaker.

Included with each set are both white and black aluminum mesh grills so you can choose which look best matches your adult toy.

Our L Series Subwoofers have been engineered to deliver the earth-shaking SPL and smooth bass that SQ purists require. Each L model features a redesigned Injection Molded PP Cone. This cone combines deep bass and distortion free sound. Next we designed a single piece CNC machined back plate with extended pole piece to insure a strong symmetric magnetic field for increased operating efficiency. A sandblast finish was applied for good looks and durability.

Our Thin Woofers are only 3.25" deep but don't let its lean size fool you, these woofers are big on bass. We gave our engineers the dificult task of builiding a thin woofer that was up to the PowerBass reputation of great performance at an exceptional value.

Starting with our proprietary polycarbonate/glass fiber composite frame, we built a basket that is stronger then steel and lighter then cast aluminum. Our unique one piece cone is another break through in woofer technology, more durable then paper, this injected molded cone is able to withstand the abuse that comes from delivering deep bass in a small enclosure.

By adding a tough wide roll rubber surround and 2-inch vented voice coil, we were able to develop a woofer that has the ability to play loud in small places. The PowerBass Thin Woofer makes true bass a reality.

PowerBass S-Series woofers now sport a treated non-resonant finished, stamped steel basket that is custom tooled with our distinctive X design. A 2 BASV voice coil former is used on the 10 and 12-inch models, while a 1.5 former can be found on our brand new 8-inch models. These new 8-inch subs require only 3.5 mounting depth. Like the entire Autosound range, we also offer a Large Roll foam surround for precise linear movement of the cone, which equals loud bass.

The S Series subwoofers are well-suited for smallsealed or ported enclosures and use dual 4-ohmand single 4-ohm voice coils for multiple bassapplications. Now more than ever, our S-Serieswoofers provide lots of value without sacrificing hard-hitting performance.

The ASA3-400.1 mono subwoofer amp is a great choice when yourre looking to pound out the bass. With 200 watts, theres plenty of juice on tap to power our S or M Series single 4-ohm woofers.

Wire a pair of 4-ohm woofers in parallel and the ASA3-400.1 will kick out a solid 400 watts. Need more power, then step up to the ASA3-600.1. Both amps are stable to 2-ohms and come complete with a wired remote controller

This line offers amplifiers that can provide up to 1,500 watts to a single woofer - if it can take it. Our ASA3 Class D amplifiers remain 1-ohm stable, and still come complete with all our sought after features like subsonic filters to keep ultra low frequencies from zapping power from where you want them.

Our Bass EQ control also gives you the ability to increase your subwoofers output by up to 18dB at the earth shaking frequency of 45 Hz.

To finish these amps off, we include a remote level control to give you the ultimate in subwoofer volume control from the cockpit of of your vehicle.
