Chasing Down History• AfterastellarfirstthreeyearswiththeRedStorm, seniorErin Burner is on

her way to inking a spot in multiple categories of the St. John’s all-time re-cord books.

• With the help of 11 doubles last season and one already in 2015, Burner is 15 shy of matching Chelsea Durning’s 45 career mark from 2008-11.

• Leading the team with 14 home runs in 2014, Burner remains only 12 deep balls short of the record (42) set by Kacee Cox from 2008-12.

• The senior also holds a career batting average of .343 (173-for-504), putting her within striking distance of the program record of .350, held by Jo Sher-lock (2003-06).

A Season To Remember• The Red Storm is coming off a historical season in 2014 where it recorded its

firstwinningseasonsince2004,finishingtheyearwitha28-23(.549)overallrecord to advance to the second-ever BIG EAST Championship game in pro-gram history.

• St.John’salsosettheprogramrecordwith12conferencewinsin2014,fin-ishing the regular season with a 12-8 BIG EAST mark.

• The Red Storm also set the program’s single-season record with 27 double plays turned, breaking the previous record of 21 set in 2006.

Red Storm Field Project• Since the beginning of the 2014 season, the Red Storm has been working

hard to raise money for an indoor batting facility that will include batting tunnels and locker rooms that the St. John’s softball team could use to con-tinue its vigorous training throughout the tough winter months.

• For more information on the Red Storm Field Project, including how you can help contribute, visit www.RedStormField.com.

St. John’s Softball On ESPN3 and BEDN• The Red Storm will see a combined 16 games carried live in H.D.-quality

across millions of homes in 2015 with 12 games on ESPN3 and four on the newly established BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN).

• St. John’s will open the ESPN3 schedule with a doubleheader against Dart-mouth (March 19) before broadcasting a rematch of the 2014 BIG EAST Championship with DePaul on March 21-22.

• After a non-conference matchup against LIU Brooklyn (March 25), the Red Storm will round out its ESPN3 schedule with a pair of weekend series against Georgetown (April 2 and 4) and Villanova (May 2-3).

• BEDN will stream the doubleheader at home against Providence (April 11) before heading out to Omaha, Nebraska, to broadcast the doubleheader matchup on the road against Creighton (April 25).

On Deck• The Red Storm will next venture out to the West Coast for spring break from

Feb. 23 until March 1, making trips to Cal State Northridge and UC Riverside before traveling to San Diego for the San Diego Classic against No. 2/2 Or-egon, San Diego State, Grand Canyon, Cal Poly and North Dakota.
