What’s the difference between a good man and a Godly man?

While there are a lot of answers we might come up with – the short answer is that Jesus is the difference. In Christ, men discover all that their heart needs and desires. This is why Jesus’ command to go and make disciples has become a defining command for the ministry of Promise Keepers Canada.

When men are walking with Jesus – everyone is a winner. Statistics and stories will tell you that when men are following Jesus then families, churches, workplaces, communities, and nations are different.

As a team, we are compelled to not just build good men, but to do everything we can to build Godly men.

We are now half way through 2015, and we want to share with you a glimpse of what God has been doing so far this year, and what to look forward to in the second half of the year.

Approx. 5,200 men attended Promise Keepers Canada Men’s Conferences this spring– up from 4,500 last year.

Many men put their faith in Jesus and were adopted as sons of God.

Thousands of men confessed fears that were holding them back from fully surrendering to God.

Blueprint for Men Discipleship Series is a series of 6 week DVD-based small group studies that will help you walk men through a journey of discipleship.

// Each study is taught by a Canadian leader reflecting the diversity of our nation.

// The first three studies are now available:

1. Identity: helping men to understand what it means to find their identity in Christ

2. Greatness: helping men to understand what true greatness looks like

3. Temptations: helping men to fight the temptations that come our way

When completed, there will be a total of 9 studies of 6 weeks in this series.

This Is Me TV is an online video series designed to help young men become Godly men.

The first three videos have received over 43,000 views.

We had many great interviews, including John Eldredge (best selling author of Wild at Heart and Killing Lions), Gary Thomas (best selling author of Sacred Marriage), and Donald Miller (Founder, The Mentoring Project and author, Scary Close).

The Fatherless Project information sessions were held at conferences across the country, showing hundreds of men how they can be involved in mentoring those from father absent families.

A missions team from across the country partnered with EduDeo ministries to help build a safe school building for children in the Dominican Republic.

A missions team helped renovate and refurbish facilities used to minister to low income families and those who are homeless in the Kenora, Ontario area.
