Circadian Rhythm is the human body clock that operates critical functions including the production of testosterone, growth hormone, cortisol, and melatonin. These hormones have a direct influence on a body’s overall functionality in key areas including:
Light signals the body clock whether it is night or day and therefore if it should be awake, alert, restful or regenerative. Photobiologists discovered a light-sensitive protein in the eye’s retina called Melanopsin that detects intensity or changing levels of light. This photoreceptor projects to a different, non-visual part of the brain where our circadian clock is located. So when sunlight gets brighter in the morning, melanopsin becomes very active and triggers the brain’s body clock, or suprachiasmatic nucleus, to shift into an active day pattern.

Downlights are provided with computer designed, lamp specific, post Alzak anodized reflectors of pure aluminium (99.98%). Available in Specular aluminium (SA) and Diffused aluminium (DA) to provide glare and iridescence free performance.
Electronic multi-voltage (120V or 277V driver). 120-277V available for inherently IC and ICAT option. Replaceable LED module with quick disconnects. Extruded aluminium heat sink. Optional ICAT Junction box listed for feed through wiring. 0-10V Dimming (to 5%) standard.
Fixture design allows for retro t applications, allowing installation from below ceiling. Light assembly with driver box is standard construction.

624 ADJUSTABLE - 2”
The 624A Recessed 2” LED Adjustable Downlight with Chroma technology provides energy efficient light using a cold remote phosphor LED by XICATO® for industry-best fixture-to-fixture color consistency. Offered with a 36° or 54º beam spread.
Dimming Option
*Adequate plenum clearance is recommended when no above ceiling access is available for the installation or servicing of the driver box (non-IC or inherently IC versions).**Thermal protector used on the 700lm and 950lm standard construction and NCM option.

Mounting system to accommodate a ceiling thickness between 1⁄2” to 1-1/4”, with a ceiling cutout of 2-7/8”.
Downlights are provided with computer designed, lamp specific, post Alzak anodized reflectors of pure aluminium (99.98%). Available in Specular aluminium (SA) and Diffused aluminium (DA) to provide glare and iridescence free performance.
Electronic multi-voltage (120V or 277V driver). 120-277V available for inherently IC and ICAT option. Replaceable LED module with quick disconnects. Extruded aluminium heat sink. Optional ICAT Junction box listed for feed through wiring. 0-10V Dimming (to 5%) standard.
Fixture design allows for retrofit applications, allowing installation from below ceiling. Light assembly with driver box is standard construction.
