A cascade of indirect lightilluminates the inside in natural fashion,
exalting the purity of the wood for an enveloping eff ect. A diff use and homogenous
fl aring with contrasts of light and shade recalls saunas illuminated in a natural way,
with the light fi ltering through small windows set in the walls.
The various coverings off er not only amazing chromatic eff ects, but numerous remarkable characteristics. From the Canadian red cedar with its disinfectant, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic properties, to the black fi r that recalls the “Savusauna” or “SmokeSauna” beloved of the Finns, where the absence of a fi replace caused soot to coat the walls and benches.
The explicit craftmanship is clear from the tenor of the slats that alternate at regular intervals with diff ering heights that are nevertheless identical at the point where they join the seating. A stylistic choice that has been adopted so as not to visually disturb the geometric continuity of the perfect design.

The use of gold and silver enhances the value of the functional elements such as the steam
source, the fi replace with its Mediterranean technique and the wall columns. The detailed working in anodised aluminium moulds these
jewels together, giving them force and personality.
The various coverings available range from the luminous materiality of the
ecostone to the magical three-dimensional refl exes of the crystal. The fl uted eff ect of the
crystal recalls the classic world of the mosaic (Roman opus) without the need for
grouted surfaces.

This is software that permits Starpool products to be switched on remotely. It can transmit abundant functional data, problem alerts and maintenance check-ups to any mobile device.

This software regulates and maintains constant temperatures for all Starpool products. Energy Effi cient is linked to the automatic closing of doors, thus permitting energy savings of around 20% compared to normal operation.

Along with the Neocogita research centre, we have created NU RÈLAX®, a multi-platform programme that combines wellness and neurosciences for an eff ective mental training method: a series of
paths for relaxing and focussing that are suitable both for Starpool well-being centres and for the house or offi ce.
The method has a solid scientifi c basis. If we think of the brain as a plastic organ, capable of responding to environmental changes and the activities it follows, it is thus necessary to train it. Meditation, which activates important areas of the brain, also acts to develop their physical structure.

The framework consists of solid wooden boards placed at right angles and assembled in crossed layers. This revolutionary system permits rapid on-site assembly. A team of spa physicians has studied the right sequence of equipment for every type of expectation, as well as the right length of time to spend in each area.
An independent scientific study has made a significant valuation of the method, showing how the feeling of well-being perceived by those exposed to the correct doses of heat, cold and rest reflect a real physical state of relaxation. As demonstrated by the study carried out by Dr Alessandro Corsini and published in the international journal Sport Sciences for Health, the subjects tested at the end of the spa path showed an increase in modulation of the heart rate by the vagal system, a system that our body usually activates in situations of relaxation and well-being.
