ACTIVITY INFORMATION
COURSE DESCRIPTION AND STATEMENT OF NEED
This symposium is designed to update general pediatricians, family practice and internal medicine clinicians about recent advances and state-of-the-art diagnoses; therapy for problems encountered in daily practice, and enhance skills and competence in overall pediatric patient care. This year, the conference will focus on the increasing importance of specialty and subspecialty care and will include a “what’s new” review in endocrinology, infectious disease, nephrology, cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, GI, ENT and neurology.
The 2016 Pediatric State of the Art conference will introduce solutions that are currently applicable and available to practitioners and will offer didactic and case-based sessions with real-time audience polling to encourage participation and interaction. Participants are encouraged to bring interesting or difficult cases for faculty panel discussions. In addition, participants will be provided with supplemental resources to enhance and sustain their learning, including electronic versions of the course material and web links to access more information regarding the subjects discussed at the conference.
