Teacher Profiles

Mathematics & Science

*Sunny, Mathematics/Physics Teacher: holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London in the UK. He has extensive experience teaching in HKDSE, IGCSE, GCSE, GCE and IB classes.

* Paul, Mathematics Teacher, graduated with a BSc in Mathematics from York University in Canada. He used to be a Mathematics exam marker under the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority and has over 25 years of experience teaching HKCEE/ HKAL/ HKDSE/ IGCSE/ GCE/ IB Mathematics.

* Chi Lung, Mathematics/Science Teacher: holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from HKU. He also achieved brilliant results, especially in Science and Mathematics subjects, in HKCEE and HKALE. He has over 10 years of experience teaching secondary students Science and Mathematics.

* Dr Kin, Chemistry Teacher: obtained his Bachelor of Science degree (First Class Honours) and PhD in Chemistry from City University of Hong Kong. He has more than seven years of experience teaching students from both local and international schools at HKDSE, IGCSE, GCE and IB levels. * LC Sir, Biology Teacher: graduated from HKUST with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He has over 10 years of experience in teaching Biology at IGCSE/GCSE/HKDSE/GCE/IB level. He is particularly good at examination techniques that help students achieve excellent results.

Economics *Samuel is a former Economics lecturer at a post-secondary college, received his BSc in

Economics and Finance and MA in Economics from universities in the U.S. He has extensive

experience in teaching IGCSE/GCE/AP/IB Economics. He has published a study guide to IB

Economics. He also specializes in IA writing support services and examination-taking skills

coaching.

*John obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (Major in Economics) and Master of Science (Applied Economics and Finances) degrees from the University of New Brunswick in Canada. He has been teaching Economics for more than 10 years at IB/IGCSE/GCSE/ GCE/AP/university levels.

Geography/Religious Studies * Andrew holds a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from Durham University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is experienced in teaching Geography, Philosophy and Religious Studies at IGCSE/GCE/IB levels and helping students with their IB TOKs and Extended Essays.

English Language & English Literature * Dr. Michael Dorrell obtained his Bachelor’s and PhD degrees in the UK. He has extensive teaching experience in English Language/English Literature for IB, GCE, IGCSE and HKDSE students. He is also an expert in helping students with IB Theory of Knowledge as well as personal statements and interview skills for university admission.

* Joseph Hess obtained his Bachelor of Arts (1st class Hons) degree in Time Based Media from the University of the West of England in the UK. He has experience teaching English to a wide range of ages and abilities. He is experienced in teaching IGCSE, GCSE, IB and HKDSE English Language/English Literature.

* Jonathan is a native English speaker who was born and raised in Canada. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English and focusing on English Literature. He had experience in the IB and IGCSE examinations during his high school years. He has also obtained a certificate in TESOL and has taught students English Language and English Literature at different levels including IGCSE/ GCE/ IB levels.
