There will be No credit remedial courses for Middle School. Parents and students are

SOFTBALL—MS/HS CLASS# 204 The summer school softball program introduces ground level mechanics to playing the game. It also incorporates proper player positioning, strategy, rules, scoring, and terminology.

ADVANCED ALGEBRA This course is designed to prepare students for universi-ty courses, so it is assumed students selecting this course have a solid knowledge of core Algebra II con-cepts including linear and quadratic equations and solv-ing and graphing techniques. The course stresses the inter-relationship between Algebra, Trigonometry and Statistics using a focus of the function. This will prepare the student for Pre-Calculus. Topics include data, func-tions and models, transformations, types of functions, circular functions, probability and simulation, sequences and series, polynomials, binomial and normal distribu-tions, matrices, quadratic relations, application of Trigo-nometry. Graphing calculators are used frequently in this class as they are in most college math courses.
