Things to do Enrichment Programme 2016 - 2017

The college Enrichment T Shaped Skills Development Programme “Brings Learning to Life”.

It creates positive chances for students to find employment or progress onto further or higher education by developing a range of skills.

It enhances your C.V and helps make the most of your spare time whilst here at BDC.

By taking part in the large range of free sessions we offer for students, the enrichment sessions can drive you foward to challenge yourself physically and mentally as well as building your confidence, therefore you can reach out and achieve your future goals.

Throughout the year will be workshops and events as well as regular sessions and competitions which will enable you to develop skills such as;

Motivation,

Creativity,

Workplace Literacy,

Entrepreneurial and Enterprising, Good communication,

Team player, Leadership and Social Responsibility.

We call these and many more “T-shaped skills”. They are our softer skills which, when paired with networking and presentations to several employers, students will excel when work opportunities arise.

As a student you can participate in a whole range of sporting and non-sporting activities, free of charge each weekday.

Please take advantage of the opportunities within the 2016/2017 Enrichment T-Shaped Skills Programme.

The aim is to involve ALL students and create a fun environment whilst learning.

We look forward to meeting you all soon.
