Loosen the knob of the roller stone assembly by rotating it in anticlockwise direction. The knob has to be removed first and then the roller stone assembly. Lift the drum to remove it from the grinder unit. Wash & clean the drum & roller stone assembly before grinding.
How to OperateUltra Table Top Grinder
Now place the drum on coupler of the grinder unit and gently rotate till it is seated properly.

Place the roller stone assembly inside the drum and gently rotate it so that the roller stones are properly seated on the flat stone of the drum.
Now insert the knob in roller stone assembly and rotate it in clockwise direction to lock the roller stone assemblywith the drum.

Take a cup of water and pour it into the drum. Then add the grinding medium(full quantity) to the drum.
Fix the lid by inserting it in the hinge pin provided on the sides of the grinder panel unit and close the lid.

Ensure that the lid wiper is placed in the holeprovided on the lid. Turn it in clockwisedirection to lock it. Ensure that the wiper islocked to the lid before grinding. Lid wiperensures that there is no ingredientsstuck on the wall of the drum.
Connect the power cord and switch on the power supply. The grinder switches on and the timer is pre-set at 15 minutes by default. For resetting the timer, press the up/down keys. Once a time is set, there is no need to reset in case of a power cut. Once power comes back the grinder will operate only for the remaining grinding time.

To start grinding operation, press the rice/dal key or chutney/wet masala key depending on the grinding medium.
9 10To check the texture of the batter whilegrinding, there is no need to open the lid.The lid wiper also serves as a batter sampler.It can be removed by rotating it inanticlockwise direction to check the texture.
Once the set grinding time has reached, the grinder will automatically stop. To stop the grinding operation at any time press the OFF key.

Remove the lid wiper, open the lid, then loosenthe knob and remove the roller stone assembly.Wipe down the batter from the roller stoneassembly into the drum. Pour the batter fromthe drum into a vessel by resting on the wedge.The spatula provided can also be used toremove any batter stuck under the stone wipers.
Wash & clean the drum and roller stone assembly immediately after use.

To pour water while grinding, remove the lid wiper and add waterthrough the lid hole.

• Make sure to keep your wet grinder clean and dry, always.
• When not in use, disconnect the power cord from the mains.
• For best results and trouble-free performance, use Ultra wet grinder only as specified in this user guide .
• Ensure that the lid is closed and the wiper on the lid is locked before commencing to grind.
• Ensure to tighten the knob of the roller stone assembly before commencing to grind.
• Use the appropriate grinding modes as specified on the panel of the wet grinder while grinding.
• Be alert and cautious while operating in the presence of children and physically challenged persons.
• Always keep your wet grinder away from heat sources.
• Lift the appliance at its base.
• Clean the drum and roller stone assembly thoroughly after every use.
• Ensure that the knob of roller stone assembly is loosened while not in use.
DON’Ts• Do not run your wet grinder empty for more than a minute.
• Do not use any other attachments. Use only those recommended by Ultra.
• Do not put your hand into the drum while grinding. Both the stone assembly and drum will rotate in opposite direction and hence inserting hands could lead to injury.
• Do not unlock the knob during the grinding operation.
• Do not insert sharp objects into the slits, this would damage the parts inside.
• Do not lubricate any parts with oil/grease.
• Do not keep the drum upside down after washing.

Elgi Ultra Industries Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) guarantees this product for normal home use against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 5 years on wet grinder, 2 years on timer from the date of original retail purchase. During the said period, the Company has the option to either repair or replace parts free of charge, if this product is returned personally or sent through prepaid courier to our Ultra Care Centres, along with proof of purchase and guarantee card duly filled in by the retailer.
The decision of the Ultra Service Points/Authorised Service Points in determining the cause of failure and repairs required to be carried out will be final and binding under this Warranty and cannot be canvassed either by dealer or the retail purchaser on any ground whatsoever. The warrantor shall not be liable for any transportation cost or any damage due to or during transit of the product either way. Repaired units under warranty will be returned to the customer at his/her risk and on “to pay” freight basis.
This Warranty shall NOT apply:
• On wear and tear to the product.
• To the grinder lid.
• In case of involvement in an accident.
• If the product is purchased from any unauthorised source.
• If repairs or product modifications and/or alterations have been carried out by unauthorised service organisations or persons.
• If the product is being used for commercial purposes.
• If the defect is caused by abuse or misuse of the product or by environmental conditions that are not in conformance to the recommended operations of the product.
• If the defect is caused by its connection to peripherals, additional equipment or accessories other than those recommended by Ultra.
• If the warranty card and/or the purchase bill is not produced at the time of repair.
In no event will the Company be responsible for any loss or damage, directly by or consequential to, careless, negligent handling or misuse of this product.

This Warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied (statutory or
otherwise) and of all other obligations or liabilities on the Company’s part. No person, agent,
distributor, dealer, service centre or company is authorised to change, modify or extend the
terms of this Warranty in any manner whatsoever.
The company’s liability under this Warranty is restricted to only repair of the product and does
not involve any replacement, monetary payment or damages. Any doubt/disputed claim under
this Warranty shall be subject to arbitration by an Arbitrator appointed only by the Company.
The arbitration shall be at Coimbatore only.
Please Note:
• The Warranty is applicable only for purchase made through authorised dealers in the country of purchase.
• The above Warranty is applicable only for materials/components and not for service/labour charges incurred in rectification/repair.
