As educaon changes, our challenge is to connue to adapt in order to give the boys of today every opportunity to develop, achieve and succeed in the world of tomorrow. Our job, together as a community, is ulmately to help them grow into responsible ‘men for others’. It is your support that has enabled our College to be about more than just educaon. Thanks to community donaons, Rostrevor students experience boundless opportunies, lifelong friendships with a diverse range of students and the capacity to truly become ‘men for others’. Whether the need for building new facilies, expanding educaonal programs or providing scholarships, this is an ongoing process, which must be met if the College is to connue to offer our boys a diverse and dynamic educaon. To do this, we ask for your support. A giſt to the 2017 Annual Appeal gives everyone the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the College and play their part in the future educaonal outcomes of our boys. To those who have supported the Annual Appeal in the past, thank you. Your contribuons have provided funding for scholarships and building projects. Since the Foundaon was established, it has provided $5 Million towards building projects such as the Pavilion in 1996, the Mary Fountain Music Centre in 2000, the Skills Centre in 2007, the Duggan House upgrade in 2008, as well as the Music recording studio in 2011. More recently the Foundaon provided a $2M contribuon to the development of Stage 1 of the College’s Master Building Plan, which provided for major redevelopment of a number of College Facilies. All current and future students will benefit from these excellent facilies, which will assist them to achieve their best in all aspects of their lives, and become ‘men for others’ in the tradion of Edmund Rice. Please know that it is not the size of the giſt that counts but that you cared enough to give. As a community working together we aim to connue to build upon what is, so as to create what will be.
