2016 Overview

2016 was another successful year for Gateway

Motorsports Park. Highlights Include:

• More than 300 event days

• Over 1,000,000 fans through the gates

• Christopher Bell won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Race

• More than 18,000 fans in attendance for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Race

(15% increase from 2015 and top 3 on the circuit)

• NHRA Midwest Nationals event had record crowds with nearly 70,000 fans in

attendance for the weekend (13% increase)

• Secured INDYCAR Event beginning in 2017

Gateway Kartplex

Gateway Motorsports Park is proud to introduce the new Gateway Kartplex which celebrated it’s Official Grand Opening on

Saturday, April 18, 2015. The Gateway Kartplex brings world class kart racing to St. Louis on a specially designed grand prix

circuit located in the heart of our NASCAR Superspeedway. Gateway joined forces with Margay Race Karts, the only producer of

Formula Karts in the United States, to create the ultimate racing experience for thrill seekers. In addition to our racing leagues

and World Karting Association events, the Kartplex will also feature arrive and drive race karts capable of speeds in excess of 60

miles per hour.

Gateway Dirtplex

The New Dirtplex at Gateway Motorsports Park opened on May 15, 2015 with the TORC Off-Road Series

being the inaugural event. The Dirtplex is the first of it’s kind in the Midwest and will be home to a myriad of

events and driving experiences throughout the year. Positioned adjacent to Interstate 70 & 55, the Dirtplex

offers great exposure for companies looking to highlight their partnership and be noticed both during an event

and on a consistent basis.
