MAHA and the city of Marshall are excited to host the 2017 Bantam AA and Bantam A State Tournaments at the new Red Baron Arena & Expo. To make the experience of playing in the state tournament a memorable one, please read the informaon listed below prior to ar- riving in Marshall. A map of Marshall with a lisng of restaurants and hotels is also listed in this informaon. Pracce Times: We have set aside pracce mes on Thursday, March 16, from early morning to 5 p.m. To schedule a pracce session on either of the two rinks, please contact our arena manager, Cody Mellenthin, ([email protected]) or by calling 507-828-8134. The cost is $125/hour and payable to the “City of Marshall”. Tournament Banquet: On Thursday night, March 16, we will host a special tournament banquet in the arena starng at 5:30 p.m. We’ll be serving pork chop on a sck, chips, beverage, cookie and ice cream for all players, coaches and family members. The cost will be $10 per person and payable to “MAHA”. At 6 p.m., the Minnesota Wild will play at the Carolina Hurricanes. We will have the game live on our new 14 x 25 video board in the arena for all the players and fans to watch, while enjoying a great meal. Teams will be able to watch the game and tour the arena, for as long as you’d like during the evening. This is an informal event, but we ask each team to dress in team apparel if possible. MAHA requests each team to email Tom Hoff, (Tom.Hoff@swsc.org) no later than Monday, March 13, with the number of players, coaches and family members aending the banquet per team. Please submit one count per team. We will have a team host meet each team on Thursday night and collect the banquet payment. We request each team to make one payment for all players, coaches and fam- ily members on arrival. Roster/Team Pics Informaon: The Reinhart Rink in the Red Baron Arena features a 14 x 25 HD video board. Please e-mail a color, high-res team photo to Arena Video Manager, Alex Peterson at [email protected] and also to Kelly Loſt, tournament director at Kelly.loſt@smsu.edu. Also, please e-mail your team roster (excel only), including players, coaches and team manager to Kelly Loſt, kelly.loſt@smsu.edu. Each player, coach and team manager will receive a credenal and lanyard to use for access to the tournament and for a keepsake. Please list the names exactly how you’d want them listed on their badge. Merchandise: Signature Concepts will be handling all online orders following the region tournaments.
