This season she is leading the Bulls through their fourth NCAA appearance, and notched her sixth straight season of ten wins or more. Earlier in the season Schilte-Brown reached her 200th in the first conference match of the season, a 2-1 win over ECU. NCAA ACTION This year is the fourth time the Bulls have appeared in the NCAA tournament. Each appearance has been under the leadership of head coach Denise Schilte-Brown. This was the third time the first round was hosted at Corbett Stadium. This is the first time the Bulls have earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The program’s best NCAA finish was in 2010 when USF defeated Auburn, 3-1, in the first round. The Bulls advanced, but fell to FSU, 2-1. USF’s last trip to the NCAA was in 2015. Newcomers• The Bulls welcome 17 new players to the roster this season.• Three of the new players are transfers: Hanna Seybold, Malani Lee and

Tatiana Hawkins-Dabney.• Leah Ferlin, Katie Kitching, Sabrina Wagner and Chyanne Dennis have

all been freshman impact players for the Bulls. • Dennis has been an important part of the defense, working in

harmony with sophomore Kelli Burney. Together they were crucial in holding off UCF in the conference championship.

• Ferlin and Kitching have both been vital in scoring opportunities. • Wagner is a dynamic player all around the field. She has started every

match for the Bulls this season, and has recorded four assists and one goal.

Schilte-Brown is in her 11th year at the helm of the University South Florida women’s soccer program and 17th year as a head coach overall with stops at Virginia Commonwealth and her alma mater, University of Maryland-Baltimore County. In her nine seasons at USF, Schilte-Brown has amassed a record of 114-68-35 and a 208-165-53 slate overall. Under Schilte-Brown, the Bulls ad-vanced to the program’s first ever NCAA Tournament in 2010, where they knocked off Auburn in the first round. The Bulls have since advanced to two more NCAA Tournaments (2014,15) and were the American Athletic Conference runner-up in 2014 and 2015.
