Principal’s Message:
Dear Families of Bowmore Rd. P. S.,
November is a time for reflection and communication at Bowmore. We start the month off by
pausing to remember the men and women who fought to keep our country free on Remembrance
Day. This year our Remembrance Day ceremony will take place on November 9th starting at 9:30
for Grade 1-3 & 10:30 for Grade 4-8, and all are welcome to attend to honour the sacrifices
made by so many.
November is also the time for communicating about academics. Individual student progress
reports will go home this month to share with parents/guardians important information on how
each student is progressing. I encourage you to talk with your on how they think they are doing in
school. It is never too early to show that you care about your child’s success.
Congratulations to the Eco Club! Thanks to your support we collected and diverted 2300 lbs of
clothes from the landfill. And we raised $214 for the Bowmore Eco club
