ABOUT THE CATHEDRAL FUND

The Cathedral Fund is the school’s annual giving initiative that provides for expenses not covered by tuition and allows us to offer a world-class education to deserving students from every neighborhood regardless of economic circumstances. That true diversity—geographic, economic, religious, and racial—is the essence of Cathedral’s unique character.

From teachers’ salaries, to technology upgrades, creating next-generation learning spaces to building maintenance, the Cathedral Fund provides the financial support for day-to-day operations and critical support of our unique programs, initiatives, and activities.

42ND ANNUAL SHAMRAUCTION | February 2019

WHAT:CATHEDRAL HIGH SCHOOL’S ANNUAL SHAMRAUCTION IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING EVENT IN THE MIDWEST.

The event annually raises more than $500,000 for tuition assistance and to promote excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics.

Now in its 42nd year, this one-night event brings together generations of alumni, supporters, parents, students, donors, and friends in an over-the-top evening of fun, food, and festivities. More than 750 attend every year, with more than 500 companies and individuals donating goods and services that are put up for auction.

WHO:Reach 750+ attendees who are leaders in the Indianapolis business, civic, education, and arts communities plus hundreds of volunteers, students, and parents who support businesses who support Cathedral High School.

Must be 21 and over to attend.

WHY:To help offer the benefits of a Cathedral education to students who would not otherwise be able to afford the experience. Cathedral is one of the most diverse high schools in Indiana, drawing from more than 160 schools, 10 counties and even a few different countries. FATHER KELLY TRADITION GOLF OUTING | June 2019

WHAT:The 5th annual Father Kelly Tradition Golf Outing, is an 18-hole Florida Scramble. Proceeds of the event support the Father Kelly Tuition Grant at Cathedral High School, which supports the school’s vision and mission. The Father Kelly Tradition Golf Outing is held on the Friday of Alumni Grand Reunion Weekend and is a special one day event that includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range, food, libations, commemorative gifts, and fun.

WHO:The outing draws teams of 32 foursomes comprised of alumni, parents, friends, supporters, donors, board members, faculty, administration, and staff of Cathedral High School.

WHEN:Friday, June 21, 2019 Registration begins at 10 am with shotgun start at 11:30 am
