The primary group dedicated to the promotion and defence of contractors in the Quebec construction industry, the Association de la construction du Québec (ACQ) has more than 6,000 members including general
and specialized trade contractors, professionals and suppliers.
The ACQ is also the management-side negotiating party for the 17,000 contractors in the institutional-commercial and industrial (IC/I) sectors and is active in the residential sector through the ACQ Guarantee Plans (PGA).
With a network of 10 regional associations established in 16 cities across Quebec, the ACQ provides its members with a wide range of tools and services to assist them in the day-to-day management of their operations. Counsellors on workplace health & safety as well
as labour relations are present throughout Quebec in the regional offices.
