Learning Objective • Provide a rigorous Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC) through focused professional development, e˜ective di˜erentiated instruction, strategic assessments.

Creation Involvement The GVC was developed by K-6 English Language Arts PVSchools to map state standards and create curriculum pacing guides and strategic assessments. Through the GVC, every student in every class will be taught the same essential knowledge and skills. This year's focus has been to create a K-6 English Language Arts (ELA) GVC as part of on-going curriculum work that has previously included a GVC for 7-12 ELA and a GVC for K-6 mathematics.

Business Operations Operational E˛ciency The Business Operations departments support the schools and departments of the District by creating excellent, safe, and secure learning environments for all students. During the 2017-18 school year, over $21 million in projects were completed to maintain learning environments at all campuses district-wide. The Business Operations departments maintains a web-based, formalized best practices which are easily accessible to sta° allowing schools to focus on the student learning opportunities.
