Raffle: There will be a raffle table to benefit the NMSC. Donations for the table will be gratefully accepted on Friday or
Saturday morning.
Coop Out: Coop out will be after presentation of awards on Saturday or Sunday between 7 AM and 9 AM.
Sales: Birds may not be sold out of boxes or vehicles during the show. Sale cages may be rented for $10 each
and should be pre-reserved. Delivery of pre-purchased birds is permitted. Lodging: Hilton Garden Inn Uptown Albuquerque

General Show Rules Cages will be available for all entries.
1. All entries must be accompanied by payment. Entry fees will not be refunded.
2. All entries received in the show room must have leg bands.
• All exhibitors must provide proof of NPIP testing for birds exhibited or placed for sale in the building or on the show grounds. There will be no exceptions for the safety of all birds and flocks. Any bird showing evidence of infectious or contagious disease will be removed from the show and isolated including mites.
3. Each exhibitor or their representative will be responsible for feeding and watering their birds. If show staff feed and water your birds, a $5 charge will be assessed per cage.
4. No persons other than show management and the judge may handle exhibits without the permission of the owner.
6. The judge’s decision will be final.
7. The NMSC will put forth all effort to ensure the safety of, but not be responsible for the loss or accident to any birds
or persons during the show.
9. By entering birds, you have agreed to allow NMSC to use photographs taken by NMSC for advertising/promotion on websites and publications.
10. Cocks & Hens are birds over 12 months of age. Cockerels and Pullets are birds under 12 months of age.

Junior Classes: Cock, Hen, Cockerel, Pullet, Frizzled Male & Female, Silkied Male & Female,
Open Classes: Cock, Hen, Cockerel, Pullet, Frizzled Male & Female, Silkied Male & Female,

Tier 1: Birds will be judged individually, according to the scorecard. Exhibitors will place their bird on the table, have
10-15 seconds to pose their bird, then they must step outside the judging area until judging is completed. Fly-aways
can be placed back on the table. The second time they leave their table, they are disqualified. This includes table
jumping.
Tier 2: Top scorers in each class will be brought back to be judged against one another. A champion and reserve will
be named for each class.
Tier 3: Open class champions will compete for Open Champion & Open Reserve of Show, Junior class champions will compete for Junior Champion & Junior Reserve of Show.
