Our Activities • Members Only Play
Our primary activity is doubles tennis during Members Only Play Monday thru Friday from 7:30am to 10:30am throughout the season. You don't need a partner. Club members play open doubles at the above times.
If less than four members are waiting to play, the court(s) finishing their set should rotate out the losing team and let the next two players in. If more than four players are waiting, the court(s) finishing their set should rotate out all four players and let the next four have the court.
The guest fee for non-members playing during Members Only Play is $10.
Non-members interested in joining the club are invited to play one Members Only Play without paying a $10. guest fee. Questions about membership can be directed to: [email protected]
• Mixed Doubles
Club members can schedule Mixed Doubles events throughout the season. They are usually scheduled on Fridays from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Guests are welcome. The member hosting Mixed Doubles will set-up the roster of players.
• Impromptu Mixers
Members and their guests can use the courts at all other times when they are not scheduled for Members Only Play, Matches, Team Practices or other scheduled events. A member must be present at all times when guests are on the courts. Non-members can participate. Go to ChampionsTennisClub.com for the Events Calendar.
Our Teams Champions Tennis Club sponsors teams for men in the Greater Columbus Tennis Association (GCTA) league.
Home matches are held throughout the season at the John Campbell Tennis Center.
Members seeking more competitive opportunities can represent our club on these teams and compete against teams from other Central Ohio public and private tennis clubs.
Club membership is required to be on a Champions Tennis Club team.
