Inforum 2017: A.I. capabilities bring Infor one step closer to intelligent ERP

related information. Images now become the

source of input rather than clicks, text, or

advantage of the visual aspects of their work

environment. Automating processes and

providing an ION API connection for search

capabilities will decrease the need for

time-invasive tasks that can be automated

via computer vision.

AI Platform as a Service

(PaaS)

Skills based on machine learning and

cognitive intelligence can be created using

the Infor Coleman A.I. platform. Users can easily

prepare training data, apply algorithms, test

and refine models, and deploy proactive and

predictive models into their environment. Users

can create both intelligent apps and services to

the single entry point to your application suite. With the

capability to surface the most pertinent information per

user, Infor Ming.le Homepages empower users by giving

them access to their daily work processes.

user’s role. This provides each user the metrics that best

Infor Document Management simplifies business processing

by providing a central repository for documents used

within an organization. IDM provides documents in context

along with sophisticated search, making it easy to find

documents and related information within ERP systems

and Infor OS applications.

Benefits ■ IDM capture—IDM Capture extracts, classifies, and

imports data into IDM using OCR and ICR engines, fixed

formats, and free-form extraction. IDM Capture accelerates

business processes by eliminating manual processing and

human error.

■ Document stitching—IDM allows users the ability to

quickly combine multiple documents into a single PDF

file that can be stored in IDM or shared with others.

This enables users to stitch together related information

and improve business efficiency.

■ Archiving and retention policies—Documents within

The Infor Data Lake is an infinitely scalable object repository

for capturing massive quantities of structured, semi-structured,

and unstructured data in its natural state. The Data Lake is

an API access layer to drive the next generation of apps for

analytics, science, and more.

HMS Comp Accounting module

manages rules and accounting related

to the Casino complimentary charge

management.

• The Casino Management System

manages all casino player activity.

The system calculates a “rating” on

each player based on the players’

credit line and theoretical loss.

Players are assigned a rating, and

based on volume of casino play, may

qualify for incentives such as a low

or complimentary, (also known as

“comp”) meals, rooms, show tickets,

or discounts in the casino outlets.

• Complimentary (Comp) Accounting:

Birst’s latest software release extends its

self-service data preparation experience to

business users with best-of-breed relational

online analytical processing (ROLAP)

capabilities so that they can extract data

from databases or query it directly from

Birst was the first cloud analytics provider to

introduce the ability to query data in place

with its Live Access capability. In contrast to

other cloud analytics vendors that only support

simple query pass-through, Birst delivers

full dynamic SQL generation on tables in the

underlying database. Now, with the latest

release, business users will have access to

this capability without provisioning by

an administrator.

Infor Staffing Optimizer for Healthcare is a patient acuity and

workload management solution that provides a link between

the patients being cared for and the nurses who care for them,

using empirical, evidence-based data gathered from thousands

of care interventions to establish detailed knowledge of your

exact patient care needs.
